A hardcore diversity hire. In the late 2000s, while a lieutenant in the Atlanta PD, she was caught obstructing an investigation of child prostitution and pornography involving the husband of another officer of the department. For this she was demoted and fired, some board within the Atlanta gov overrode the firing and reinstated her.

Prior to that she was disciplined for escorting celebrities through Atlanta traffic during the 2003 NBA All-Star Game while claiming to be on police duty.
