What is the point of having police when they sit idly by and not stop vandalism and riots?

If police are not going to do their job, they should leave the scene or take of their uniforms. They are disgracing their profession.

If the police are not doing their jobs, then the Chief, Mayor need replacing, the DOJ investigate ,and all fund withheld, and wages not given out.
