An accused fentanyl dealer awaiting arraignment on felony drug charges at the federal courthouse in Pittsburgh hanged himself in a holding cell, rather than face justice on drug charges.
According to TribLive.com, the drug defendant, Gregory Japalucci, 38, of Westmoreland County, Pa., died Saturday at a local hospital following the hanging on Wednesday.
U.S. Marshals Service has offered few details about the incident, which took place in a federal courthouse holding cell while Japalucci was awaiting his appearance in court.

A federal grand jury indicted Japalucci in June on felony charges of delivery and possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, as well as conspiracy.
The grand jury also indicted his wife, Autumn McClellan, 30, on charges of conspiring with her husband to deliver the highly addictive drug.
The pair had been "on the run" until Wednesday when federal authorities arrested them in Pittsburgh.
It was not immediately clear if Japalucci's jailed wife was permitted to visit him before his death.

They didn’t give him the fix he needed, just the one he deserved.
He saved the taxpayers millions... A bit of redemption for his other sins.

It was a very effective analgesic, which is good. It made me somewhat euphoric and had a pleasant feel about it, but I have no desire to repeat its experience. I'm lucky.
This is something I don't understand: It's necessary to inject it intravenously, and the effect only lasts about 30 minutes. Do fentanyl addicts inject themselves every 30 minutes through the day and night?
This is probably not the best forum to ask this question, but someone might know.
I understand that it is not long lasting which is good for minor surgeries. It has been aerosolized by the CIA and was used in that Russian Theater where they knocked out the entire building (a small number died from the drug) ,, it is commonly used by the CIA in abductions and “interviews” ... as while under the drug you will lose all inhibitions and are lucid enough to answer questions. Apparently the most common way to abduct someone is to use a taxicab where the driver fills the cab with the drug (driver given NARCAN just before so it doesn’t affect him) or to introduce it into your house through various vent openings.
Drug addicts prefer dilaudid. It’s about 10 times as potent as heroin and lasts for quite a while
Drug dealers like fentanyl because it is extremely potent, like 50 times stronger than heroin and therefore useful for mixing into impure heroin and increasing it’s potency. Doing this allows dealers to increase their profits. Users just shoot up this “stepped on” heroin without any knowledge of what has been cut into it. Because fentanyl is so much stronger than heroin, there is a much higher chance of overdosing.
This is especially true for addicts who have lost their “tolerance” due to a period of abstinence, like after spending a month in jail for example.
Because of the potency, math errors made during the cutting process can result in especially deadly batches. When that happens, the ERs rapidly fill up with dead and dying addicts.
Well, either way, the problem is fixed..................

Depends of teh size of the dose.
You were given a controlled size dosage that depended on your weight. Plus you had surgery. If you are truly in pain, the euphoria is lessened somewhat and the addictiveness as well.
Drug addicts self-medicate with no pain to alleviate...........................
