Tom Cruise Reportedly Injured While Performing High-Flying Stunt For MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6
Comic Book Movie ^ | August 13, 2017

Tom Cruise was injured during a building-jumping stunt on the set of "Mission Impossible 6."

The 55-year-old actor was in London Sunday when he attempted to leap from a rigging onto a building but he fell short of the mark and hit the building pretty hard.

You see Cruise try to limp away and then collapse. He then limps back to the edge of the building and and is pulled away by crew members on the safety team.

We don't know the extent of his injuries.

He really does some crazy stunts. Hanging on the side of that plane could have taken an eye out

....so why not climb the Burj Khalifa if you have the chance?

I dunno. Maybe because it’s extremely dangerous and the sheer height would scare the cr@p out of me.

Doing his own stunts at 55 is pretty impressive, even courageous.

There are probably other stars who do their own stuntwork, but I’m hard pressed to think of any.

My favorite is Cruise’s portrayal of Less Grossman in “Tropic Thunder”. Absolutely brilliant. And many people don’t realize its him.

Do you think they’ll steal Jackie Chan’s idea for closing with “oops” outtakes?

It’s not like Chan was the first to do the outtakes thing at the end of movies, ya know. Burt reynolds movies had those outtakes at the end and I seriously doubt he was anywhere near first.

Two people were also killed in the filming of his impending film, American Made, about the life of CIA pilot, Barry Seal:

(He was HEAVILY involved in Mena and had dealings with the Clintons)

Just saw the video. If his legs were a little longer he could have made it. Maybe.

Is he still in the closet?

Did he ever come out?

Cruise is this era's Marlon Brando.

Harrison Ford is pretty old and he crashes his own plane on a regular basis. But maybe that doesn't count.

Lotta y’all showin’ how jealous you are. Let’s face it. Lotta y’all gettin’ old and junky while Tom Cruise’s trying to keep going. Y’all might as well go sit on your couches out in the yard, swattin’ flies, lettin’ the dog come lick your faces and your feet, and don’t change your underwear for days at a time. I’ve seen you. Y’all are creepy.

I may be one of the few Cruise fans left. Is he nuts with his religion...yes. Does he star in an inordinate number of bombs.....yes. But he always tries his best and has put in some great performances (Collateral is an underrated movie, check it out).

Cruise was good in Valkyrie which surprised me. He even looked like the real-life character he was portraying.

Cruise is going to play Barry Seal in an upcoming movie which I think is interesting. I might go see that movie.

Yeah, but I don't remember any of Reynolds' outtakes. Probably funny flubs of lines, missed cues, and the like.

Chan uses the ones in which he's the one that mostly gets hurt doing/choreographing stunts.

I’ve never been a huge fan—always thought he was too much the pretty boy for many parts, but I agree on the whole. He’s a decent actor, and he keeps his crazy to himself for the most part.

Minority Report is definitely in my top ten list, because it is a good leftist dystopian tale, but also because Cruise’s face is horribly disfigured. I know I’m going to hell, but I laugh every time he drops his eye.
