No state has taken the election of President Donald Trump harder than California. The Golden State has long been overrun by liberals as Hillary Clinton’s swamping of Trump by over 4 million votes shows.
California hasn’t taken kindly to Trump’s win. State Democrats brought in former Obama regime fixer and ex-Attorney General Eric Holder as a legal hired gun and Hollywood celebrities are calling for coups, martial law, open rebellion, and even outright violence.
Unbelievably, a recent comic book/graphic novel “CalExit” promotes the idea of armed revolt against the United States government.

.... Yup ... We laughed a couple of years ago as they pushed this idea .... just like we did at their many other fanciful ideas ... and of course, we passed it off as an insane joke by insane activists.

I don’t think the folks in the emerald triangle, over in the sierras, or down in the orchard and croplands will be on the side of the big city liberals. Those areas are all in strongly/vast majority red counties. In fact most of the counties in cali are red counties.
Most of the counties in this state, the counties that supply the water, food, and the electrical power to the cities will not be too happy with the socialists trying to remove their American citizenship either. They are not going to move and have no intention of giving up their citizenship.
If it is a revolt the left is planning in their big cities they just may want to stop and do a reality check.
Without power, water, food, and flushing toilets, the left wing stupid idiots in the cities may not feel so powerful. All of those things originate outside of the cities and are supplied to them by the red counties, at least for now.
The power towers, the water pipes/ducts, the bridges the trains and trucks use to deliver food would come down quickly and take a very long time to rebuild. That long time gets much, much, longer in a shooting war.
In any armed conflict you attack your enemy’s weak points and the liberals logistical weak points are already precisely known.
Maybe they need to do some more thinking about all of this while their toilets still flush and their kids are not going hungry and thirsty.

I think this kind of thinking is a great opportunity for real federalism. Just what we’ve always wanted.
If Californians want to inflict socialist catastrophe on their citizens (using remarkably corrupt voting system), why should someone in West Virginia, say, care?
But when the left is in power, they demand that those same policies be inflicted ON EVERY STATE, via the federal government, even if those states do not condone them.
Let Texas and like minded states run their affairs. Let California and like minded states run theirs. Bottom line is power is removed from Washington. I wonder if the left is developing a strange, new respect for federalism?
Also, repeal the 17th amendment.

The State of Jefferson (which traditionally includes my homeland of Southern Oregon) is a wonderful idea. If eastern California wants to remain, welcome them—but adios to LA and the Bay Area.

All Federal Reserve Notes (money)shipped to California banks should have the words CALIF stamped on them and ONLY be redeemable in California.
If California leaves the Union they then can be classed as worthless and un-redeemable.
We did that with money sent to Hawaii back in WWII just in case the Japanese captured the islands.
Calexit is a fantasy and a libtard’s wet dream. It will NEVER happen. 1st. Marine Division would be in Sacramento faster than Moonbeam can fart. I do believe California needs to be broken apart but only if it gives Conservatives a real chance of representation. The Civil War was not pretty. These snowflakes have nothing on the Confederates of the past who at least could fight and had reasonable arguments (besides the slaves).
