Republican donors are protesting GOP lawmakers' failure to repeal Obamacare by withholding donations to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
At least $2 million in contributions originally promised to the NRSC have not materialized, CNN reported Tuesday.
The failure of Republicans to fulfill a central campaign promise particularly concerns some donors because it could disillusion core voters heading into the 2018 midterms. The uncertainty could put the Republicans' majority—especially in the House of Representatives—at risk.

Deason refused to host a fundraiser for Rep. Mark Meadows (R, N.C.) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R, Ohio). He further informed House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R, Calif.) his checkbook was closed.
"Get Obamacare repealed and replaced, get tax reform passed," Deason said. "You control the Senate. You control the House. You have the presidency. There's no reason you can't get this done. Get it done and we'll open it [the ‘bank'] back up."

The RNC called us a few weeks ago & I politely told the lady on the phone that the RNC will not get a dime from us until they repeal Ocrapcare & fund the border wall.
Lady tried to “scare” me by saying the RATs would win Congress back if they didn’t get the donations they needed. I told her she needed a better script to read because I can read polling too & there’s nothing to suggest the RATs will win back the House or the Senate at this point & time.
I mailed them back the Donation form w/ a Penny attached and a sweet note.
That will likely get it done.
Though I am highly discouraged that a few guys with large checkbooks are able to speak more loudly than 62 million voters.

The best way to donate to President Trump is to buy gear from the Trump website. That way we can be sure it doesn’t find its way to the RNC.
My personal opinion is that while a drop in donations may affect certain particular members, the GOP as a whole doesn’t care
Their real money comes from keeping the Fed.gov gravy-train running and from corporations and banks involved in Fed.gov.
Moreover, joe and susie lunch-bucket in Ohio aren’t going to pay for the $250K consulting jobs when the Congressperson retires, but Aetna, Google, Goldman Sachs or George Soros foundation will.

Remember that guy who said “No new taxes” ? That was a broken promise that I thinks pales in comparison to the anger of REAL Republicans who have been waiting 8 YEARS to kill this LIFE or DEATH issue. This is why the RATS lost the Senate when they had 60 seats! I predict a bunch of RINOs are going to be kicked out of the swamp come election day.

The fact of the mater is that the GOP wanted Trump to lose and now they don’t want to be a Majority party with him at the helm. They want the dems to take back Congress and the Senate.
Trump should quit the GOP and declare himself to be an Independent.
