All he had to do was ask for a statewide recount, but he decided he wanted to cherry pick counties favorable to him.

He choose poorly :)

No, he is a liar, a charlatan, a hypocrite, damn good at swindling money via his global warming scam and apparently his "Chacra" is in need of frequent repair.

After it became clear to me that Trump had won, I happily went to bed around 10. I later talked to a good friend and he said he stayed up late before they finally admitted Trump had won.

Once it was clear that Trump had won, I switched to CNN and MSNBC just so I could enjoy their pain. I washed their pain down with great draughts of adult spirits. Until it was certain that Trump had won, I drank nothing.

Schadenfreude is good!

Katherine Harris...

told the MSM that there were two time zones in FLA and to not call the election until the western part of the state had completed voting. The MSM deliberately ignored this, in an attempt to discourage GOP voters, and called the state for Gore before the polls were closed in western Florida.

What a putz. The 2000 election in Florida is the best documented election result in history, and Bush won.

I miss Senators Mondale, Humphrey and McGovern. All were left wing liberals. All were honest men and did not lie to us. I opposed their political beliefs but respected them as honorable men.

George McGovern had a most honorable record in WWII as a B24 pilot. McGovern flew 35 combat missions as pilot of a B-24 Liberator in Italy during World War II, and received numerous combat awards. His missions were of extreme danger and he acquitted himself with valor on more than one occasion.

I do not think the Democrat Party has a place for such men as this. They were all patriots and honest. The once honorable Democrat Party has no use for men and women of honor, integrity and truth.

Gore and Hillary will tell you with straight faces that they won the election and should be President. Just those pesky details about counting votes, the Supreme Court, and the Electoral College.

When Hillary didn’t immediately concede that Tuesday night, I was sure she and her staff were calling in every chit and maybe selling their souls besides to pull out a win for the MSM to announce at 5 or 6 am. I don’t doubt for a minute that they tried, but she may have been the one on the _owing_ end when it mattered after stealing the nomination from Bernie months earlier.

The whole thing was already planned and ginned up - the Democrats hired a telemarketing firm to start making calls to stir people up into thinking they didn’t vote properly. The whole thing was orchestrated and not organic like most liberal outrages.

In addition, the networks repeatedly, over and over again kept pounding into the airwaves with fake news that the polls in Florida were closed an hour before they closed in the most conservative part of the state - the panhandle. They even called the state for Gore - while the polls were *still* open! Studies have shown both of those moves cost Bush a net loss of 10,000 votes because people who may have voted naturally thought the polls were already closed and Gore had already won the state. Had the networks not done that the whole thing would have been academic. If Bush had been leading by 10,000 votes on election night none of that turmoil would have occurred.

There’s also obviously no way that the networks had adequate information to call the state since none of the western precincts could have reported for their mathematical models to be complete.

There was a lawsuit filed against the networks by Florida voters and in a settlement the networks agreed they would not report that polls were closed while they were in fact still open.

I was trying but failed to find that old altered photo of a liberal protestor that was posted here back at the time holding up a sign saying “Shiny objects distracted me and I voted for Buchanan.”

They not only called the state for Gore while those polls were open, but repeatedly over and over again went out of their way to keep saying the polls were closed in Florida for that entire hour while they were in fact still open in the most overwhelmingly Republican part of the state. A study was done showing if that had not been done, Bush would have netted an additional 10,000 votes.
