U.S. judge acknowledges parental rights violated!
A Minnesota mother is trying to deal with the fallout of a violation of her parental rights that led to her son being pushed through sex-change treatments without her knowledge.
Anmarie Calgaro is appealing District Judge Paul Magnuson’s decision to dismiss her lawsuit over the actions by the local county, school district and health officials.
The Thomas More Society said Magnuson “admitted that the boy was not legally emancipated by a court order and agreed that Calgaro’s parental rights ‘remained intact.'”
Despite those facts, the judge decreed that the de facto emancipation of Calgaro’s minor son by the county, school and medical care providers did not constitute an infringement of her constitutionally protected parental rights.
Calgaro is suing St. Louis County, Fairview Health Services, Park Nicollet Health Services and the St. Louis County School District, among others, with the help of the Thomas More Society.
Her 17-year-old son, identified only as J.D.K. to protect his identity as a minor, was told by a lawyer with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid that he was emancipated from his parents’ control and could pursue sex-change surgery without notifying them.

The article says he was 17 BTW.
So a 17 year old living on his own doing this is different than what the title and excerpt implied.
It made it sound like a young boy came home from school a girl.

If the procedure requires consent and the “doctors” and guidance counselors did not have it, then arrest them all and charge them with assault, child abuse, conspiracy to commit child abuse, sexual abuse of a child, assault with a deadly weapon (scalpel)...
I’m no lawyer, but surely something can be done short of the “2nd amendment solution”, if only the prosecutors had the will...
Read closer. It said he had been living on his own for 2 years.
At this point any monies I had reserved for legal counsel would re-directed to ammo purchases. I would start killing MF’ers to protect my child.

So, if he’s 17 now, he was 15 when he started living on his own.
And when he dies, and whatever ripe old age, he’ll still be XY and a male. Period. End of story, end of paragraph, Le Fin
Yep, but that pretty much kills the outraged parent part of the story.
Need to find better cases than this to support this threads main narrative.
Chances are that he would like that.
