I don't necessarily believe this. I think it's plausible that a modern industrialized world has had an affect on the environment. At issue is how much? Is it all necessarily bad? Do we want to return to a stone age life to mitigate it? I believe the answers are; negligible, not always, and no.

The problem is that conservatives have allowed the liberals to politicize the issue in a way in which they have the upper hand and can appeal to emotion. Our messaging has been horrible. Instead of flat out denying climate change, we need to highlight the wealth distribution and economy-destroying "solutions" that are buried in the fine print.

President Trump has been reasonably effective at this when he pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Accords. This is the angle we need to attack the Left from.
