Visited Detroit in the mid nineties. It was Jefferson Ave, if I remember correctly, that had signs about every 1/2 mile that proclaimed “ Motorist beware after dark”.

This is Hollywood - it has to be a 'We Hate White People Movie'. There aren't enough white people living on the South Side of Chicago to blame - and most of the shootings by cops are done by black cops. So there ain't gonna be no modern day movie about racial violence in Chicago.

Anytime I see that name while making the sort of statement these morons are making, I have a tendency to start swearing. Michael Brown was a street thug who attempted to bum rush a cop he thought was about to arrest him for a strong-arm robbery he had just committed, who got dead for his stupidity. His problem was one the black community needs to solve, the problem of a young man with no respect for law, order, and norms of civilized behavior.
It’s an anti-cop movie,especially white cops.

Lets not forget his partner in crime, Dorian Johnson, a convicted liar, who fomented the whole “hands up, don’t shoot” BS.
What ever Brown did, Johnson made it exponentially worse with his falsehoods. Furthermore, I am convinced that that narrative was promoted by the local social justice “clergy” that inevitably show up at these events.
