About the ventilator: home ventilators exist, as do small “transport” ventilators for when patients need to be moved between or within facilities. (I’m sure you know this but other FReeprs may not). Also, I saw some pics online of Charlie outside GOSH lying in the grass with his parents soooooo obviously the ventilator made it out there. How effing stupid do they think people are? Wait, don’t answer that.

I do not know about CNN but the British public sure will. “This is the kind of healthcare we like, want, and paid for.” Now, if it had been a Muslim baby, it would have been a different story.

I can see them saying “Parents cannot insist WE PAY for continued care”... but once the government health care systems has given up and refused to treat any more the parents should BE ABLE TO TAKE THEIR OWN CHILD HOME OR WHEREVER THEY WANT.
