If it hadn't been him, some other swamp creature would have drawn the short straw. Years ago I watched the Senate "full time" over a period of a couple years. It's theater for the masses. The GOP telegraphed long ago that was in favor of Obamacare. Heck, it proposed it as an alternative to Hillarycare, back in 90's.
IMO, not a single Senator is redeemable. There might be one, but I have no idea which one. Sessions and DeMint were keepers, but they've moved on.
