If this is accurate, it tells me the old media crime wing still has far more power to shape public opinion with lies than is expected.
I think there are a couple of factors to consider...
1. Many people are involved in summer pursuits...vacation, yard work, etc. They are not paying close attention, and if they are watching any news, it is likely ABC, CBS, NBC...
2. President Trump is not speaking to the American people as much—fewer rallies, etc. so the media is more able to relentlessly filter and attack him and his message.
