Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!

Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

You're correct. The reason why Presidents have lieutenants or cabinet members is that the job is too large to do by himself. If Presidents could do all of it, like doing the AG job, there would be no need for a cabinet.

The leftist propaganda is always heavy thick to fool people when Republican presidents get elected as I noted in this recent post.

Trump probably knows it’s probably impossible to jail Clinton because of intimidation and the like. Besides, she probably would die during trial.

“Sessions was confirmed on February 8. Weeks passed before Sessions announced his recusal on March 2, weeks in which there were endless opportunities for the WH team to call people together and make a team decision on the question of recusal.”

What team decision? Idiot Sessions made the decision on his own...that’s the whole point.

Because he spoke to the Russian Ambassador in his Senate office? He recused himself over that? Please.

That's not the reason he recused himself. He recused himself from any investigation into the Trump campaign because he was an advisor and at times a participant in the campaign. He was part of the campaign.

The kind of team decision well led and well managed teams get together and make when a critical question is being kicked around in the media for more than a month.

The Trump administration is seriously lacking in good management and coordination.

“Sessions “made the right decision under the rules of the Justice Department” in recusing himself from the investigation, Giuliani told CNN on Monday after landing at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport”.

Sessions knew Damn well the President was unaware of Senate “Rules”. He also knew if the President was informed he ( Sessions) would not be appointed. He accepted the appointment under false pretenses. That’s is wrong on every level.

Bullshit. No one was thinking “recusal”, because unlike Sessions they were men not Democrat ‘Al Frankin’ butt kissers.

The flimsy excuse of seeing Russians, had nothing to do with Sessions recusing himself?

And if that’s so because he was part of the campaign, he didn’t inform Trump what his plans where going to be when Sessions was to be appointed as AG?

“Firing Sessuins will be an “end-of-Republic” mistake.”

Do you need smelling salts?

You are posting some of the most harebrained nonsense I've ever seen on FR.

Half the Democrats in DC and many Republicans were "thinking recusal", and blaring it all over the media, before, during and after Sessions' confirmation hearings all the way to March 2 when he announced his recusal, for more than a month.

If that wasn't enough to tip someone off in the WH that a team decision was needed, then nothing will tip them off.

“I am continually astonished at the number of Freepers who continue to say that when it was Trump himself who ruled out pursuing a further investigation of the Clintons. And Trump makes himself look extremely disingenuous to those who know the facts.”

Trump thought that by showing kindness to Clinton the Deep State would Reciprocate, Bad Mistake, they saw it as Weakness.

No, it didn't. That was an attempt to establish some sort of collusion by members of the Trump campaign with the Russians. The recusal was because Sessions would have had a conflict of interest as AG overseeing an investigation into a campaign he had been a part of.

Apparently, like I thought, Sessions did recuse himself because of the Russian contacts no matter how flimsy the reasoning.

“WASHINGTON — Attorney General Jeff Sessions, facing a storm of criticism over newly disclosed contacts with the Russian ambassador to the United States, recused himself on Thursday from any investigation into charges that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election.” -snip-

“Sessions recused himself based on a recommendation from the DOJ ethics office.”

The same DOJ that was weaponized against Republicans, that DOJ?

As I have been posting Trump had no problem with this when it happened
He said he welcomed an investigation which would prove him innocent
He sees what a mistake that thinking was and is trying for a Mulligan
Real crap sandwich now exists

No one has provided a direct quote of Trump saying he wouldn’t pursue charges against Hillary. There were unnamed sources to MSNBC and Morning Joe. Yet some FReepers still continue to view that as Gospel.

Besides, Trump may have felt that way right after becoming Prez in order to unite the country. And for that he got 6 months of bogus Russia attacks from the Clinton side.

Trump tried to take the high road now he is taking the gloves off.

As for Sessions, campaign loyalty shouldn’t guarantee you a job if you aren’t getting it done. Trump is singularly results oriented not playing DC loyalty games.

Yet, he’s made a mess of things, is running his own game, isn’t loyal to the President, lacks spine and is doing this country more harm than good.
