Yes, well, we know the left all agrees that recusing was the correct move.

It wasn’t legally right. You don’t have to legally recuse yourself from a manufactured scandal. And, I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think you’re under any legal obligation to recuse yourself from anything. If that were the case then Kagan would have recused herself from the Obamacare case. It’s more an ethical thing, and there’s nothing unethical about not recusing yourself from a fake scandal.

There are two ways to look at that.

If there is no case, then of course there is no recusal. Recusal proceeeds on a case-by-case analysis. If "the case" is a piece of hallucinated fiction, there is no case, and any recusal is in effect, meaningless. Just for example, session has to recuse from a case where his wife is charged with a federal civil rights crime.

But make no question, Sessions has to recuse from a case that involves his wife. He also has to recuse from a case that involves the Trump campaign.

So let me get this straight. You are claiming that a republican that was a federal prosecutor..that people here want as AG is now a lefty and is wrong about sessions
