CALLER: Thank you, sir. Great to be here. And that parody a while ago was great. I know you got a lot on your plate and I don’t want to keep you long. I’ve been an independent most of my life and was a Democrat. And I followed Bernie Sanders, I really liked Bernie Sanders, he had all my support, until Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Hillary Clinton decided they wanted to steal the nomination from him. And instead of him standing up and telling us, “Look, you can’t vote for these people. I’m your nominee, you gotta follow me.” He went right along with them, and to me, that’s unforgivable. That was worse than what they got away with. And as far as I’m concerned, Bernie Sanders, you have no credibility with me anymore, period.
RUSH: Aside from the fact that I can’t believe anybody in my audience was gonna vote for Bernie Sanders, your point is right on the money. (interruption) No, I can’t. Did you hear this guy? What is he doing here? He likes me, and he was gonna vote for Bernie? What’s the bridge there? Don’t worry. Not a big deal. Bernie Sanders took a dive. The moment he found out the game was rigged against him, he didn’t stand up against these two women, Hillary and Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz. He let them run right over him with their bus and then, like a big sycophant, got behind Hillary’s campaign under the guise of party unity. I’ve often wondered why he did that.

RUSH: Actually, my friends, there is a reason why Bernie Sanders turned tail and allowed the Hillary bus to run all over him, and it really isn’t complicated. But I want to expand on the caller’s point aside from the fact that he was a Bernie supporter, because I want you to try to put this in perspective too. Here’s Bernie and he’s raising money and he’s traveling all over the country and he’s running a campaign, and he clearly has a more energized and a younger voter base than Hillary Clinton will ever have.
Arguably, Bernie Sanders was just as popular and just as likely to win the Democrat nomination as she was had the game not been rigged against him. He kept piling up delegates. Hillary didn’t even have to campaign. The game was rigged. This we know, folks. The Democrats didn’t even dispute it. They’re benefiting from the fact that the press is not interested in exposing it any further than it already has. The supposed Russians supposedly hacked into the DNC network and servers, and that’s how this has been discovered.
The Democrat National Committee has never turned over their computers to the FBI for any forensic analysis, and the best guess that common sense would make is that they don’t want it proven and established that they were rigging the game against Bernie Sanders. Well, it actually already has been. They turned their computers and their networks — their servers, everything — over to a third-party outfit called CrowdStrike, and then CrowdStrike did their analysis, and everybody just accepted it.
Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz has since been fired. But the Democrat primaries were rigged by Debbie “Blabbermouth” and Hillary in favor of Hillary to avoid a repeat of what happened to Hillary in 2008 when Obama came out of nowhere and took what was to be her nomination then. Bernie keeps piling up delegates. I think Bernie had to know in the campaign that he wasn’t gonna win this. Bernie even during the campaign was saying things like (impression), “And I think it’s ridiculous that we keep talking about your email. Those emails are nothin’.
“There’s nothin’ to those emails.”
So he was in on this, I think, when you get right down to it, and he wasn’t gonna buck them when this was all over. Don’t forget: Here’s this avowed socialist that’s never made a dime in his life, and after this campaign he ends up with a house valued at $600,000 — and it happened to be his third house. Where did that come from? Now we have learned since the campaign that Bernie’s wife, Jane, has been hip deep in all kinds of financial shenanigans.
That’s in addition to the fact that she did great damage to a liberal university and how she may have committed bank fraud while doing it. They never brought any of that out during the campaign, ’cause I think Bernie made the deal. I think Bernie was a willing participant in this whole charade that was designed to make Hillary Clinton look like she was tough, like she could fight off a big challenger, like it wasn’t something that had been handed to her.
I think that is the explanation for Crazy Bernie. His supporters would not accept any of this if you were to tell them. They believe Crazy Bernie was legitimately trying to win and got legitimately screwed, and they are forever gonna be mad at Hillary and the Democrat establishment for it. But they’ll put it aside, of course, when Trump then replaces Hillary as the enemy.
This guy figured out what Socialism is all about..Socialists dont want the peasants to have the money, the Socialists want all the money for themselves. Bernie has 3 houses, why doesn’t he give one of them up and pay for his supporters student loans, he would never do it because he wouldn’t dare part with his dough

Bernie didn’t sell them out. They were already sold out the day they got their first Participation Trophy or they learned that Mom would never count all the way to 3 so there was never a consequence.
All Bernie did was to save himself from a suspicious suicide or vehicle crash.
Were it not for a seemingly limitless supply of useful idiots, socialism would never have gained power anywhere. I would like to have asked the caller this:
“Would you have felt better electing Bernie Sanders as President, to find out then that he’s a fraud, or are you happier knowing now that he’s a fraud without having given him the power of the Presidency?”
Most of the useful idiots would claim Sanders was fine until he “sold out,” but a few of them might have gotten the point that he was a fraud all along, and that in a backhand way, Hillary Clinton did us a favor keeping him from the Presidency. But none of them will get the real point, which is socialists, whether Sanders, Clinton, Chavez, Castro, Mussolini or Lenin, are all the same.
They don’t really give a shit about the people. It’s all about power for them.

Bernie is just a couple of IQ points smarter than Biden. Of course a pile of horse shit is smarter than Biden, but my point is that Sanders had no clue what he was doing. I don’t think he was smart enough to figure out any type of positive outcome here.
If he was smart, he could have taken the fall and maybe get a cushy cabinet appointment, maybe even veep.
But Hillary is a vindictive bitch. Even if she had won - she would have continued to screw over Bernie.

Something was going on behind the scenes. The look on Bernie's face at the Democrat convention told me he was guilty of something he did not want his followers to know. He wanted to just slink through the convention and make a weak show of it, but when his followers wanted him to fight, his face said, Sorry, I already made a deal, I can't go back on it.
This was clear to anybody with a brain that bothered to connect-the-dots. Bernie always pulled his punches with Hillary, and took the dive precisely when he was told.
Really, is there anyone who ultimately doesn’t “sell us out”?
