President Trump is talking to Senator Ted Cruz and others about what they would do differently as Attorney General, should Jeff Sessions resign, as reports indicate.
White House sources also report President Trump was truthful when he made comments expressing buyer’s remorse over appointing Jeff Sessions to the role. Trump staffers believe Sessions, Donald Trump Jr, and Rohrabacher aide Paul Behrends were unfairly scapegoated due to the left-wing Russia narrative.
In addition, a replacement for special prosecutor Bob Mueller is being acitvely discussed as the President weighs the decision to fire the Rosenstein-appointed prosecutor. Many within the Trump camp see Mueller as acting in bad faith with the investigation due to partisanship, and are urging the appointment of a truly independent alternative.
Facing criticism as a political witch hunt by many, Bob Mueller has hired a who’s who of liberal activists as his team of prosecuting attorneys. Research on Muller’s prosecutors is being conducted for the administration by Chuck Johnson’s team. Finally, top Trump donors are funding their own research operation independent of the White House in order to push back against the media’s fake Russia narrative conspiracy theory.
Cruz is a liar.
Mueller has a strong appearance of conflict of interest for his collusion with Comey and partisanship with his hires.
He needs to be called out to resign or be fired.

Trump needs to ignore Mueller. Read up on the Saturday Night Massacre. That event was the final straw for Nixon. Trump must not even think of firing Mueller. It could lead to his demise.
Instead, Trump should nominate his own Special Investigator. One who will actively go after Bill, Hillary, Huma, Carlos Danger, Comey, Lynch, Podesta and of course, Obama.
And that man is Rudy Giuliani.
I see it differently. Mueller’s conflicts really diminish his ability to do anything but exonerate Trump.

I am / was part of that base but have been disenchanted with the revival / strengthening of the asset forfeiture law, FOIA requests still on being ignored for Judicial Watch / Tom Fitton,and finally, the marijuana debacle. I have NEVER in my life done any illegal substance but let the states take care of MJ. Also Sessions has assigned same prosecutors who are responsible for Bundy’s imprisonment to investigate the situation. For heaven’s sake!
All in all I am very disappointed in Sessions.
Also, Rod Rosenstein needs to go, I remember a portion of the FreshCamel hack of the encrypted chat with nefarious characters talking about getting rid of Trump. A line suggested RR (Rod Rosenstein was dirty and had placed Mueller in (to take down Trump).
