I will keep “bleating on” until my last “bleat”.

Go yell at clouds all you want old man. You guys had your chance.

We're going to take the Republican Party away from you and give it to guys like Kid Rock and I'm going to help.

Well first of all it is up to the voters of Michigan and not to you if they want him.

That's true. Sorry if I'm the only non-Michigan person to express an opinion one way or the other.

He is also not pro abortion, but realizes that a man has no right to tell a woman what to do.

So he's not anti-abortion either. And the difference is really?

Also as a ordained minister he is opposed to gay marriage, but if he absolutely had to he would do so.

No minister "absolutely has to" marry anyone. He made it clear that he would do so if asked. How is that opposition?

Bullshit.

"A woman" has no right to kill anybody's unborn baby, and everybody has the right to say so. Abortion is wrong. Always. And it is destroying America more than illegal aliens, mohammedan 'refugees', and socialism combined.

But wait - you want “conservatism.” A fat lot of good your version of conservatism’s done us.

Great article. Schlichter captures perfectly the utter contempt and loathing I have for the "Old Guard" of the GOP.

KID ROCK FOR SENATE!

Drew68 :" We're going to take the Republican Party away from you and give it to guys like Kid Rock and I'm going to help."

That should be our response to all the eGOP quisling obstructionists !
We need to take power from the current " entrenched and entitled" politicals, ... and send in the activists !

Oh, THAT video.

(to be sung to the tune of “With Arms Wide Open”)

Well, the diagnosis came today...
Seems that itch won’t go away,
When I try to pee, it’s burning pain,
And reeking pus pours out my d***

With legs wide open...

First, I think he'd make mincemeat out of Debbie Stabenow. She will have no idea how to run against him.

I also think his candidacy could have impact beyond Michigan, especially in a midterm election.

My "profile" of a Kid Rock Republican would be fiercely patriotic and anti-big-government. I suspect they'd take a different view than most conservatives on marijuana. Surprising to some, I think they'd strongly support religious freedoms, because they would embrace a "Being Left the Hell Alone" platform.

In my own family, my 22 year old son takes a harder-line, more rhetorically aggressive approach to conservatism than is the historical norm, and he's not alone. I'm telling you, his generation is fed up.

His crowd identifies much more with a conservative like Kid Rock than George Bush.

The current purpose of the Republican Party is to anger overly sensitive people.

Policy, culture, etc no longer matters in the least.

Kid Rock will “melt Snowflakes.” That’s all that matters now.

Trolling the Left is the only reason to get up in the morning.

I look forward to amending the Constitution so Milo can be president.

By the way, I was tangentally involved in college radio in the early 90s. And the station received one of Kid Rock’s first albums. This is back during his flat-top/Vanilla Ice stage. It quickly went to the top of the “worst free CDs ever pile” and held that position for a strong three years.

I'm so tired of these old socon cucks. They've accomplished nothing. They haven't banned a single abortion or stopped a single gay marriage. They've succeeded, however, at shipping our entire manufacturing base overseas, squandering American blood and treasure in endless Middle Eastern crusades, and importing millions upon millions of unskilled illiterate immigrants to take what few jobs we have left.

Absolutely totally useless.

And Kid Rock is insufficiently pro-life or anti-gay for their tastes? I puke on them.

At least Trump – and Kid Rock – never lied to us about who they really are

Well, except for presenting himself as a bad ass from the mean streets of Detroit when he was really a rich kid who grew up in a suburban mansion.

And let’s not forget that he is a high school dropout with a bad history of drug use and dealing.

We can do better than this.

Here, here!

I am sick and tired of the fake conservatives, the grifters that Schlicter refers to, who have conned all of us for 30 or more years. They NEVER believed in conservative ideology, they just pretended to for their own self-interest. They played us...and it is time to ditch these fake bastards, whether in government, in the media, or in the lobby/influence-peddling areas of endeavor.

“Conservative Incorporated sold us a bill of goods – oh, not all of them, but enough of them that there’s no more benefit of the doubt for the Republican Party. Let’s be really clear – most of the GOP Senate crew was ready to pull the tab and chug the beer of repeal. That’s good, and why we need to avoid playing the “I HATE THE WHOLE GOP! WAAAAA!” game the Democrats and their media catamites are pushing to dishearten and discourage us. No, we’re not falling for it. We don’t need to give up. We just need to purge the party of the squishes. We still have about a dozen or so liars who played conservative at home and bipartisan trough hog back in DC. And they need to be kicked to the curb.”

That bears repeating. We should NOT throw the baby out with the bath water. We need to be able to discern between people that have NOT screwed us over, who HAVE been faithful - vs. those who screwed us. LEt’s be level-headed about this and, above all, let’s not let the Dems/media determine how our Party is to be run, or by whom.
