Give Joe Scarborough credit. Just when we were getting bored with all the Trump/Nazi analogies, Joe has come up with a new one. On today’s Morning Joe, Scarborough compared Trump press secretary Sean Spicer to an old Soviet spokesman and propagandist.
Scarborough’s beef was that Spicer had supposedly said that the meeting of Trump campaign people including Donald, Jr. and the Russians was “just about adoptions.” Joe called that a “lie.”
But have a look at the screenshot below, showing what Spicer actually said.

Q Thank you, Sean. The President tweeted earlier today that most politicians would have gone into the meeting like the one Don Jr. attended in order to get info on an opponent. He said that's politics. His FBI Director nominee said that anyone who was approached by a hostile government for opposition research should contact the FBI rather than taking the meeting.
That is the Soviet style press, asserting a misleading or false premise within the question and demanding an answer based on the false premise.
Lindsay Graham is the one who claims that taking opposition research is the same as interfering with an election. Christopher Wray said, "Any threat or effort to interfere with our election from any nation state or non state actor is the kind of thing the FBI would want to know."

Scarborough is a clown. He even looks like a clown. All he would need is a little cherry at the end of his nose.
