Democrats Spooked by Drop in Colorado Voter Registration Amid Trump Probe Into Voter Fraud
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | 7-15-2017 | Adam Shaw

Democrats are apparently spooked by a sudden drop in voter registrations in the key swing state of Colorado, with Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez arguing that it is connected to President Trump’s investigation into electoral fraud in the 2016 election — and promising to fight back against it.

According to the Denver Post, approximately 3,400 Colorado voters canceled their registrations after the Trump administration sought voter info from the states. The Post notes that the number is hardly enormous, representing only 0.09 percent of the state’s 3.7 million voters.

Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity has asked states to hand over data from their voter rolls, reportedly including felony convictions, military status, and voter history. The move has seen pushback from a number of liberal states such as California, New York, Virginia, and Connecticut, as well as some red states such as Oklahoma and Kentucky.

(snip)

McClatchy reports that the Democratic National Committee and the Colorado Democratic Party have launched an effort to persuade Democrats to stay on the voter rolls.

“If you unregister, you are giving a victory to proponents of voter suppression,” Perez said in an interview with the outlet Friday, adding that they see this as the party’s new rally crying.......

But Perez told McClatchy that they weren’t looking to panic voters, only that they are “concerned.”

“What we’re seeing in Colorado, we hope that doesn’t spread elsewhere,” said one DNC official. “That’s why we’re working on educating voters across the country about this. We’re not trying to incite panic, but the DNC itself is monitoring this situation and is concerned by what we’re seeing.”

Another possible reason for withdrawals is it is normal amount of people moving and Democrats are creating a story , fake news.

But the numbers are interesting. An earlier article said that typically a few dozen will remove their names from the voter rolls –here we're talking about hundreds.

In my experience, people who are moving usually can't be bothered to get in touch with their local elections board to remove their names.

So I believe something very unusual is going on now. There is probably an illegal immigrant grapevine that spreads news of impending gov't scrutiny, and this is one of the results.

They’ve been honing their skills for decades. Nixon likely beat JFK had the election been an honest one.

In Colorado you can register and vote same day. you cannot change your affiliation to vote in a primary within 30 days of election. We have no photo id and you have to have proof of in state residency for 22 days. We have independents who believe they should be allowed to vote in primaries. I work elections as a computer judge and have 2 or 3 folks in a 2 week early voting period who present non driver license ID.

But...but...but I had a local Board of Election official tell me that there is no such thing as voter fraud. Anywhere. Ever.

Go figure.

The 3400 cancelled registrations are known. Have the DOJ check their voter rolls to see if they voted in two states last November.

>>> Americans are waking up to the ‘Rat Crime Syndicate.

WHICH just showed all the Republicans (previous and current) combined are such gutless s*(^%-eaters.

It only takes one DJT to ‘do something about’ it, instead of “just keep talking about” it.

Here is the note to GOP: Give us something to vote for! Instead of ‘we are less evil than the other side’.

And all states make it available under certain conditions. Some states, if not all, sell it.

Has anybody found the list of those who have UN-registered in Colorado?

Since voter registration data is public information, someone must have the list.

It would be interesting to know how many Jose Jimenez and Mohammed Abdullah have UN-registered.

It is a felony in all states for non-citizens to register to vote.

"If you made voter ID the law of the land with photo and finger print I’d bet a third of Demoncrats would disappear from the rolls."

Given that they are likely either dead or illegals, they might 'disappear' altogether. Those dastardly Republicans are always trying to deprive Democrats of their rights.

And Nixon knew he had won, but let it go in the interest of not putting the country in a state of chaos.

Interesting. Were they dead or alive, I wonder.

I didn’t realize that the threat of enforcing the voting laws might get him half way there. Is this Trump brilliantly playing the media again?

It gets better

Remember what happened in 2016...yes an election....

My bet is that Trump already has all the voter records from every state since 2016 or even before

just purchased them as a public record

The new request for records and the dims reaction

Another Trump sting

Maybe a Mr Miller purchased them.

Isn’t this clear evidence that the registrations were invalid in the first place?

Not quite.

As others stated, people un-registering could have been due to various reasons if the number had been in the dozens or a couple hundreds.

But the number of 3400 is significantly higher than ‘normally expected’.

And here we are, we are guessing right now.
[Note: my last paragraph is sarcasm, in case it didn’t come across as such.]

I was just using the same technique the press does. Take a fact, and assert that fact is clear evidence of a certain conclusion. When the press does it, the inference is called “news” that must be further investigated.

When I moved from my parents' house and registered in a new county I was told that my old registration would be cancelled automatically. A few years later I received a jury summons in my old county based on it. If I had been more knowledgable of Democrat vote fraud, I would have asked to see "my" voting record in the interim before I cancelled it myself.
