You said it, brother. Give it.
w/o having read the article completely one thing comes to mind,
Minimum wage would actually probably rise as business competed for available workers, demonrats should be happy, however demonrats are never happy
How many congressional seats would California lose?
The money quote: “America’s economy is drained.”
This is the dirty secret about illegals. All countries who consider themselves a part of the “first world” survive on a model that depends on a growing economy. If something were to happen to one of those countries that “drained the econom”, it would be catastrophic. And removing all of those people would not just free up all those goods and services they use. It would reduce their size. i.e. not as many employees would be needed. Not as much food would be needed. Not as many cars, DVD players, tv sets, etc. It would effectively shrink the economy, and severely.
This is how wars are started.
Nobody noticed the difference on the day without a mexican so they swept that bad idea under the carpet.
Great article but seemed to double dip on the welfare category.
We have almost none around here. White guys mow lawns if the owners dont. Everything seems to go along ok without mexicans except at the local poultry operation where they love mexicans since they are the only ones who work for minimum wage and keep their mouth shut.
And the Moonbats complain a 20 billion dollar Wall is too expensive.
Pass this around for information and perspective.
If someone steals your Television and later they are caught and the stolen property is returned, how is the poor thief suppose to watch TV?
These people will do ANYTHING to insure the United States of America is destroyed. They have left logical behind years ago.

Due to our country’s survival depending on a growing economy, the only way I can see getting rid of the illegals as a good thing is if, at the same time, we stop giving welfare to able bodied people. i.e. those currently living on the government dole replace the illegals at the jobs they did - or they starve to death. Their choice.
I’d LOVE to deport every single illegal and anchor baby, but they have become such an embedded part of this country that is would destroy it. Of course, there is a lot to be said for the Phoenix...
Not necessarily. It depends on whether or not gringos keep electing demonicRATS. In which case, all that extra dough would go to Unions, pensions, lucrative benefits for government workers, etc.
Then what would it be like to have no guest workers as well?
It would mean that citizens would actually have a chance for entering more skilled work and keeping it. That, and a case could be made to recruit and re-train less-ideal candidates (e.g. long-term jobless and those duressed by offshoring) to backfill.
Getting rid of every one of them is a risk im willing to take.
The country isnt being destroyed as it is?
while i totally believe these numbers i wish there was some documentation for when i argue with my liberal friends.
If 20M leave today, tonight, we’re gonna party like it’s 19.99M.
Loud playing of “Happy Days are Here Again!”. Lots of confetti flying. YUGE tax cuts at every level....
I am struggling to see a downside to this.
Crime would drop.
Billions of dollars would not be stolen from taxpayers.
Housing would become more affordable.
Traffic would ease.
I’m not seeing any downside.
I work in the building material supply industry. There is no doubt that many of our customers use illegal laborers to build their houses.
I will admit that these guys work and work hard.
But, they need to go. It’s too often when I roll up on a jobsite and no one even speaks English.
The self-deportation and forced deportation will have a big effect on the building trades, which are already undergoing a labor crunch. But I also see it as a benefit. Young people will see the wisdom of a career in the trades. (My son is planning such a career)
There will be a period of time where building will slow due to loss of labor, but soon, Americans will again take up the mantle of craftsmanship.
I also foresee a time when Hispanics can come back, through a legal guest worker program and get back to work as well.
OOPS See my post #76. I (obviously) had not read all of the comments yet. We think alike!
I got on the Michael Medved show once and said basically what you did, only on a subject other than illegal immigration.
He was shocked that I wanted to “see the country destroyed”.
What these guys don’t get is that there is teeth in the phrase, “you gotta break some eggs to make an omelette.” Our founding fathers knew this. One of the phrases I loved from the mini-series on John Adams was regarding sacrifice. It was along the lines of people being willing to sacrifice their life for freedom, but not willing to sacrifice their comfort.
This is the problem we have. Any real solution to our country’s woes (and really every 1st world country today) is going to cause a great deal of REAL pain to the average citizen - at first. Unfortunately, not enough are willing to make that sacrifice so we will simply ride this train to the end. And the farther we go, the more it will hurt when the train does stop.
