Speaking of weather I’ve heard Hawaii has seen a big increase in homeless. I don’t understand how allegedly broke people get there from the mainland. But somehow they do.

We give you free room and board and transportation to a major intersection and you give us your daily takings ...

Big difference between decriminalization and legalization

With legalization you can buy the stuff openly over the counter.

It is as predictable as the dawn, taxes, and death.

If you are a Democrat, homelessness and poverty will barely be mentioned.

But days after a Republican is elected (not even takes office) there will be an epidemic of homelessness and poverty.

The claim that pot is not the cause of this homelessness epidemic is probably true in one sense and false in another.

My guess is that the recreational pot use has not MADE a lot of people homeless. At the same time, how better to attract lazy, dysfunctional and/or mentally ill people to your state?

these are not “homeless”; they’re the marijuana “tourists” the state so desperately thought they wanted, you know, bringing in all of those “tourist” dollars into the state.

Even in the best of cases, marijuana “tourists” aren’t going to spend much money on anything but marijuana. They’ll hitchhike in, panhandle for dope money, cigarette money, illegally camp out on private property, and when winter comes, hitchhike out again.

Marijuana tourists are NOT like families coming to tour Rocky Mountain National Park, or go skiing for a few days.

Our only hope is that warm weather states like California fully legalize dope, and then there won’t be much reason for the dope bums to hitch to Colorado.

if I were homeless, this would not be a location that I select from because of the winter elements

That explains why Vancouver is teaming with homeless. It's the only place in Canada where you won't freeze to death.

“Ohio decriminalized possession of marijuana below 100 grams decades ago & it didn’t cause this problem. “

Did Ohio also legalize industrial grow and extraction operations with retail stores on every block?

Because Colorado too decriminalized possession of small amounts decades ago as well, but it wasn’t until the above was legalized that the problems started.

Hey!

Dopers like nice scenery, too.

These are just the dopers with poor balance who can’t ride surfboards.

They like to look at the mountains.

Yes and I appreciate you all making weed legal, should mitigate the effects of our liberal dunderheads.

On the plus side, getting enough of the homeless pothead holding up signs on your corners might get more of those conservative American’s to the voting booth and get your worthless politicians out of office.

My neighbor put up bird and squirrel feeders then bitches about bird poo all over his patio and squirrels pulling the stuffing out of his lawn chair cushions...

Legal dope has damaged Colorado, and these “people” vote...

If another neighbor puts up a bird feeder, you should consider moving quickly.
