Rent increases, evictions up in immigrant communities under Trump, housing lawyers say
Sacramento Bee ^ | July 10, 2017 | Angela Hart

When Maria got an eviction notice telling her she had to be out of her Redwood City apartment by late February, she thought something seemed fishy.

She contacted housing attorneys, who confirmed to her landlord that the notice was not served legally and she didn’t have to move out right away.

Her landlord responded with a text message threatening to call immigration authorities on Maria if she didn’t comply, saying it was a “duty” to report anyone who is undocumented.

Liberals, please trumpet this concern all over the Internet.

Even if it wasn’t true, it serves to seriously alarm illegals, hastening their return “home.”

A disabled member of our family with a working wife can’t find a rental at a price they can afford. She has a green card so they live in Tijuana and she commutes daily accross the border.

How do you legally serve notice to someone here illegally?

Well - President Trump did it with Barack Obama.

Dusting off a classic:
Trump & The Pope
Seeking a break over the 4th of July weekend from fighting the Democrats, the MSM and even many claiming to be Republicans, Donald Trump jetted to his yacht, which was docked off the coast of Italy.
He invited Pope Francis and the press corps on board for a Saturday afternoon cruise. It was a rather windy day. The Pope’s little hat, his zucchetto, was blown from his head and into the water.
A crewman began lowering a boat to retrieve the zucchetto. Trump told the crewman not to bother. Trump climbed down the yacht’s ladder; walked across the waves, picked up the zucchetto; walked back to the yacht and handed it to the Pope.
The Pope and the press corps were amazed! Donald Trump could actually walk on water!
Speculation immediately began as to how ABC, CNN, NBC, The Washington Post and New York Times would report this miraculous event to the rest of the world.
The next morning the New York Times headline read . . . .
Donald Trump Can’t Swim

“A case can be made that a landlord knowingly renting to an illegal is harboring illegals. If I was the property owner, I would not want to risk federal attention.”

In California if prosspective renter is a working Hispanic, Asian, Black or evil white person. They have to pass a credit check, provide proof* from an employer that they are working and be able to post 1st and last month’s rent as a deposit.

*They have to document/prove/show their monthly income is 2.5 to 3 times the monthly rent.

“I lived in the Sacramento area briefly while stationed at Travis AFB. Public schools weren’t even an option to us, after hearing about the crowded classes that move at the slowest illegal’s pace.

And that was 15 years ago. I’m surprised the legal residents aren’t incensed by now.”

We lived on a nice cul de sac in Sac in the mid 1970’s.

There were 15 homes on the street and only 3 families were Republicans. The other two Republican families left after we moved away.

Same thing now happening in N Nevada...

Tesla—E-Bay—Switch—and other companies bringing in thousands of jobs.

You can hold a job fair & hire 300 people in one day-—but you cannot create housing for 300 people in one day.

Since I have my 5.58 acre turn key horse property for sale for $380,000 , I am delighted. But the AVERAGE price of a Reno home (2 weeks ago) was stated at $355,500 & the AVERAGE price in Sparks at $330,763.

A ‘contractor’ was interviewed that said she was building “TINY HOUSES” with between 600 & 710 Sq feet. She cannot build them quickly enough & they are selling for $220,000 each. Over $300 a Sq ft. That kind of per sq foot price would build a VERY nice regular house.

Recent figures state that over 61% of the people on ANY KIND of benefits in California are illegals-—and the state KNOWS IT. The politicians need to be charged with aiding & abetting these illegals.

Have ICE start reviewing benefits rolls. Any illegal found, deport her. Once word gets around, their welfare rolls will shrink.

If the feds cut all federal welfare programs, leaving it up to the states, then states would have to be more stringent about eligibility.
