BDS Fail: Radiohead’s Thom Yorke Calls Pro-Palestinian Protesters ‘Some [bleeping] People’

TEL AVIV – Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke on Friday flipped his middle finger at a group of pro-Palestinian protesters at a gig in Glasgow, Scotland who were calling for the band to cancel its upcoming gig in Tel Aviv.

Activists from Glasgow Palestine Action, Glasgow Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Radiohead Fans for Palestine demonstrated outside the festival prior to the band’s performance. During the performance itself, Palestinian flags were waved from the crowd, prompting Yorke to exclaim no less than four times the phrase “some f**king people!” into the microphone before reportedly flipping off the flag wavers.

Radiohead has come under intense pressure from the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement led by former Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters to cancel their Tel Aviv concert later this summer. Waters, who has in the past compared Israel to Nazi Germany, uses bullying tactics to persuade a range of fellow musicians not to perform in the Jewish state.

Good for Radiohead for not caving to the pressure from pro-jihadi Roger Waters and his fellow travelers.

I never quite understood Radiohead’s appeal, though people whose tastes I respect count them as their favorite band. That said, it’s cool that he’s not backing down. Oh, and Roger Waters is a major league d*ck!

Glad to hear this! I enjoy a lot of Radiohead’s music. Can’t stand Roger Waters - talk about a depressing jerk.

I knew there was a reason that I have never liked Pink Floyd.

The SJW Anti-Semites such as Ken Loach are already saying that they are going to ‘Dixie Chicks (Thom Yorke’s) ass’ for this—that Radiohead’s career is over.

And of course, Roger Waters has already made his statement that he will try to ‘appeal to Yorke’s better nature’.

Sweet Christ on a cracker.

Good for Radiohead. Stand your ground, guys.

I had no idea Roger Waters was such a lunatic. Must’ve taken another brick to his head.

Roger Waters tried to control the band in the. 80s and the rest of them told him to pound sand. They didn’t need him, didn’t want him.

There is a great doc. on YouTube, that we just watched, in case anyone is interested.

Waters is a douche.

“While a few artists, including Stevie Wonder and Lauryn Hill, caved to pressure from the BDS movement, most have ignored it, with Tel Aviv seeing concerts from the likes of Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Santana, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Aerosmith, Britney Spears and Bon Jovi in recent years.”

Doesn’t sound like the BDS crowd is very influential.
