A United Nations body ruled Friday that an ancient Jewish holy site is now part of Palestinian heritage.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) voted to make the Tomb of the Patriarchs and the Old City of Hebron Palestinian heritage sites, despite intense push-back from Israel and the United States. Twelve member states voted in favor of the resolution, which the Palestinians initially put forward, while only three were against it.
UNESCO’s decision sparked a fiery response from Israeli leaders, who feel the organization is being used as a political tool in the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

Interesting. Palestine is a region, not a nation. There is no Palestinian State, so how can the UN “give” it to anyone? The Balfour Declaration says it’s a Jewish state, and that dates back to 1917. Where did it change after that?

For the UN, Israel exists only an an hypothecation. That is, while it is possible to TALK about Israel, the reality of Israel is dismissed as irrelevant and a temporary aberration of popular belief. After all, if not for the Israelis, the strip of land along the Levant would be a desert in bloom, brought to fruition by the benevolent Palestinians. < /sarcasm >
The only things that Palestinians ever brought to fruition were new and more sophisticated ways to create highly destructive anti-personnel explosive devices, and sending them in on self-propelled and self-motivated human platforms, interspersed with launches of missile salvos at population centers. Greenhouses and irrigation systems are not their areas of expertise.

I’d bet fair money the countries that voted for this atrocity are ones that if try to convert to a different religion than the dominant one they will execute you for apostasy
