(CNN)A man accused of shooting and killing an 18-year-old woman in a case of road rage is being held without bail on murder charges after turning himself in Sunday morning, authorities said.
David Desper, 28, faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder and reckless endangerment, Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said. Police said he shot Bianca Nikol Roberson after he became angry as their vehicles were merging on the same lane of a highway Wednesday evening in West Goshen, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia.

Ha, ha. Happened to me just the other day. Person driving ahead of me going very slow, crossing the lane line. At the light all the traffic ahead has moved on so I blow my horn and the black gal instantly stops gazing at her phone and flips the bird. It was an automatic reflex it seemed. She had a nice big cross hanging from her reset view mirror.

He had one prior...Street racing, about 10 years ago. He’s had the pistol for a few years. He’s an idiot. Likely pulled the gun ot to scare her..and his shot hit.. the odds of hitting something so square from a moving vehicle into another...well. if you are going to pull a loaded firearm out, be prepared for any eventuality.
So far, the community are coming together...very few posts on local media calling this a hate crime or intional white on black. So much heartache for her family.... this is only a few miles from me. ...could u ave been any one of our kids..

~20yr old put his foot down a couple of times in the U-turn practice course. Got pissed, drove off, came back was told, "You drove off, you can't come back in now", came back again because his father and friend were in the class. Cussed out his father, called the instructors a-holes, drove off again, and came back, then finally drove off. It was a hot day and didn't bring my carry piece. That was one of the few days I thought I might have needed my pistol.
I wouldn't be surprised either. It doesn't matter. If you can't control your anger, you have no business carrying a firearm.
I've been flipped off before. Best course of action is to fall back, put some distance between you and them and forget about it. Live another day and stay out of prison.
I look at road rage in the same manner as I view many other antisocial behavior; people under incredible pressure are simply melting down. No excuse for the shooter here; give him the firing squad for all I care. I just expect more of these incidents as society unravels.

This is an issue in NJ, but we just have far fewer armed people. Our government gives licenses to anyone, and it makes the roadways a nightmare. It is best to drive anywhere at 6am or 11 pm.

Interestingly, there was mush less assuming going on with the threads last week regarding the thugs who attacked two tourists in New Orleans.

Yes but the fact that this local story got CNN Fake News coverage tell you everything you need to know about the real agenda here.
A small explaination, but not excuse (let me make that clear) is the following:
I too used to wonder where such rage comes from. Others have given you nice explainations that fit with larger social issues and topics and help promote some agenda. But in reality most if not all of these cases are most likely due to something, or really a “comedy” of things in short succession that are far more banal, and taken individually don’t appear to be taxing in of themselves. At least I thought so before taking the job I have now. Until one has driven in such conditions *daily*,(note the word “daily” there that’s key to understanding this nearly inhuman condition many find themselves in) one can never understand. This isn’t your minor 3 car traffic in one stop lightsville in Anytown America. Let me elaborate:
Imagine it’s a Wednesday and you know that every minute you stay at work adds literally 2 minutes (at least) of commute time to your 2 hour journey home. Then imagine your boss calls you into her office at 3:50 PM (when you leave at 4) to talk about some issue she had the whole day to talk to you about, and is also not really that important that it couldn’t have waited until the following day. Then also after talking with her you realize it’s something that you already explained earlier, that same day, or maybe the previous day. Thus a complete and utter waste of time.
So now you’re on the road at 4:15 (for no good reason at all) which means it will add at least 30 minutes to your 2 hour drive. Probably more. Which means you won’t get home until 6:45 but really later because you need to stop at the store to get that something you promised you’d get your spouse before all this happened. And by the way you get up the next day at 4:30 AM or else you get stuck in morning traffic and are late to work, which you can’t afford to be because you’ve been late already too many times. Because of traffic.
Then imagine not one, not two, but many people on this same drive home (the same day) cut you off without a signal, hang in the left lane going the speed limit or less, rubberneck at accidents at the side of the road slowing traffic needlessly only to satisfy some perverse curiosity, multiple times in many areas on the highway making “cruising” impossible thus demanding complete and mentally demanding attention on the road at all times. For 2+ hours. Every day. For years. Not just one day out of the week. Not just a few days. Every day every week for years (if not decades).
Then imagine on that same day someone cuts you off or goes annoyingly slow for no reason in the left lane or stops short almost forcing you into their rear end, for the 10th time in a row on the same trip, with all the pre-commute factors mentioned above, anyone going to tell me you’re not going to get just a little bit miffed? If not you’re a Saint.
Now, before some fool reading this post accuses me of “defending” the heinous actions of this cretin in the OP, check your own unreasonable rage because I’m not. What he did was inexcusable and he deserves serious prison time.
But you asked “Where do you have to go that a few seconds’ or minutes’ delay is the end of the world?”, and so I’ve given an explaination as to where such rage can come from. That’s it. Again no “defense” or excuse for anything just an explaination. An explanation anyone who has a serious daily commute can understand, and probably an explaination one who only “commutes” 30 minutes or less a day will probably never accept.
Just something to think about though next time you may see someone explode in rage in their car. You have no idea what kind of commute they endure on a regular basis.
Again, for the third time, not an excuse or defense for such behavior just an explaination that doesn’t involve drug use, violent movies or video games, or any other hit button social issue. It’s most likely just years of the same small crap built up over decades. Nothing more complicated, or “evil”, than that.

If the person in the left lane is going the speed limit, how could there be traffic on your commute.
Sounds like your lateness is your own fault.
