RINO Rick is at it again. Dick Michigan is another term I used for him in the past. I can't wait until this guy is term limited.

Some Republican. This gesture would not have cost him very much. It’s not like advocating mass closure of all abortion clinics. In a struggling state like Michigan, that would be controversial. This was simply a request to give right-to-lifers an equal voice. Maybe there is enough interest to override his veto. I don’t watch Michigan politics that closely.

That's too bad. So many states have them now.

Sorry but the government shouldn’t be putting out choose life or Abortion is wonderful or any other plates. License plates should just have your tag # and state. The government shouldn’t put out political plates for either side, if they choose our side today, they can choose the other tomorrow.

You want to show your support for life or abortion buy a bumper sticker.

Choose Life plates? Great.
Using state money to fund advocacy groups? Not so much.

From the story website...”The legislature can override a veto with a two-thirds vote. That has not happened during Snyder’s tenure as governor.”

Islam is against birth control of any kind. What the governor is doing could offend his neighbors in Dearbornistan.

The rich elites support the “family planning” agenda of Planned Parenthood including abortion.

Names that come to mind from previous articles I have read and stories about pro-life related controversies include Michael Bloomberg, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates etc. etc. etc.

Rich folks give $$$$$$ to the Uniparty politicians.

Until the Democrat Establishment and GOP Establishment are destroyed, things will not get better in this country.

A new political party has always been on my mind, but there’s too much “gun rights” or “pro life” or “Tea Party” and so on astroturf sucking the grassroots into continuing to be slaves of the Republican Party.

There’s a lot of anger being generated from the White House against the biased media right now and that’s all fine and dandy.

But higher on my priority list is the tearing down of the Uniparties through non violent means.

Martin Luther King made life hell for the two timing Democrat Establishment in the 1960’s. They wanted the “Civil Rights” folks to take a back seat to the Segregationist Southern Democrats.

MLK made it so bad for them with his non violent protests they sicked the FBI on his trail.

We must get in the face of the GOPe RINO’s (98 percent or so of all existing elected officials (heck almost all GOP supported Ryan for Speaker in the House). They all hate President Trump anyway and they are his worst enemies because they have the power to take him down or block his agenda.

#7: "Using state money to fund advocacy groups?"

Actually, the state is selling advertising. The way it works is the states charge an extra fee on top of your basic registration fee for this privilege. The states pocket the fee. On top of this fee is your contribution to the organization on the plate, usually a fixed amount.

If the state wants to generate revenue from vanity plates, I say fine. It's not a tax. The user is paying the state extra bucks that are not taxes.

Funding advocacy groups with state license fees is your idea of freedom?

Isn't protecting innocent life a basic function of government? Shouldn't an individual state be permitted to decide what goes on a plate?

Just askin'. 😊

I hope one day the license plate becomes obsolete. They make a car look bad, especially nice ones. The technology is here to scan stickers. Police do it all the time here in the socialist state of NJ. They can pull a car/driver record in a split second scanning a plate and also scan the windshield decals.
