As much as George W Bush (#43) has been, IMHO decried for his errors in office, we can look at his post-presidency and see a vast difference from his successor! Remember all of the bad press on his long summer vacations at his ranch in Texas? The fact that he was just as connected by communication there as in Washington was less important to the ‘Press Pool’ that had to endure Texas and Texans. Since he left office, ‘W’ has been most public when guesting military disabled, when visiting the bereaved of the 5 Dallas Police murdered by a BLM terrorist.

Obama had and still has no permanent home and no permanent summer residence that becomes a permanent home. Thus the protection for him is ad hoc and he, quite apparently, worries as little about this as he did for the doubling of the debt! He was elected and he is ENTITLED!

It will be quite informing of how we look upon these two men in their post-presidential years. One seems to have made a good and decent transition to a quiet and un-public life. It will be interesting to see if Obama follows the Clinton or the Bush precedent. Time will reveal a lot!
