Dershowitz is a liberal, but he also believes in the rule of law, especially as it applies to courtroom procedure. In this case it’s about the conflict of interest regarding Ginsburg. Some court proceedings I have seen have required the recusal of even the appearance of conflict of interest.

Schoen pretends to be reasonable. He wasn’t happy with the whole Hillary/Bernie shenanigans.

2 of them didn’t recuse when they voted on same sex marriage even though they had already performed same sex marriages where it was legal. Nobody said a word. BOOOM! we get gay marriage with 2 ringers.

Ginsburg plus Sotomayor and Kagan. They Know how they are supposed to vote. They don’t dare do otherwise. They are just a rubber stamp for the DNC, Obama and Hillary. They will never vote for any conservative or pro-Trump position. They don’t even have to look at the paperwork.

“Alan Dershowitz may be one of the few honest Liberals out there.

Pat Caddel is the only other one I can think of.”

I think each one, for their own reasons, hates the trajectory the modern dem party is on.

I remember Dershowitz saying that the original campus radicals wanted things to change but the pendulum swung too far left and stuck there.
The nutjobs took over the revolution and went berserk with it.

Pat is a man stuck in a time that is distasteful to him.

Alan Dershowitz may be a Dem, but he is most assuredly NOT a “Jew-in-name-only”.

He has not subsumed his religious and ethnic identity to the false god of cultural marxist progressivism.

And what Alan Dershowitz has witnessed in recent decades (as we all have), and what he has strongly criticized, is the rampant growth of anti-semitism across the Western world - nearly all of it coming from the LEFT.

Since the enemy of my enemy is my friend, he has therefore moved closer to our side.

Speaking as someone who lost relatives to the Nazi occupation of Europe, and whose father fought them behind enemy lines for 3 years, I welcome Prof. Dershowitz to “our side” in this battle of civilizations. The left has lost its mind all across the world.

The only nations on earth where the books “Mein Kampf” and “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” are taught to children as factual history instead of as the vile anti-semitic fantasy and Czarist-era forgery that they are - are the Mohamedan nations - which the Western left has embraced (!)

That is not lost on anyone with a trace of a soul, or with a trace of a sense of right and wrong.

I went to see Ann Coulter speak in LA when she was promoting a Book some years back.

Pat Caddel was there. I think he is a friend of hers.

I was just thinking that this morning reading his Twitter account, he goes back and forth with libs on Twitter defending Trump, stating laws that he didn’t break, he totally vindicates Trump time and time again but the left won’t hear of it.

Is Ginsburg still alive? It’s hard to tell from the pictures.

I had misgivings about AC going back to when she was ‘dating’ ‘The Torch’(LIB-CT) and was best friends with Bill Marr and she was ‘hanging’ with a lot of Hollywood Libs and POLs.

And, with such a ‘busy’ social life, she was finding time to pump out 6 or 7 books a year (or more)

It is too late for her to resign. They just need to give her a decent funeral and interment.

Exactly what I was thinking. She should sit out the next 8-16 years. Especially since the vast majority will be some clown that brings suit against Trump/Pence for breathing.

It irks me that The Left has to cross the line toward anti-semitism before Dershiwitz becomes disenchanted.

Since the beginning of the so-called progressive movement the Left has embraced the Marxist concept of wealth redistribution as its centerpiece.

Wealth redistribution requires a coercive government to enforce it and therefore flies in the face of the Founding principles of self-governance and free enterprise.

The Left has always been a disgusting blight on the Republic.

Dershowitz may finally have seen the light and realized The Left is anti Liberty and the enemy of the Republic. Good for him if he has, but if it is only the anti semitism that bothers him - for shame.

She was compelled to resign to maintain the pretense of integrity the day she wore her “dissent collar” to protest the outcome of the election.

The image of a Supreme Court Justice who finds an election dissentable is incompatible with the duties of the office.

Pat is like Reagan was, he will agree when possible but agree to disagree at other times.
I think he prefers the Gentlemen’s Rules of Government.
Sadly his party has left him in the dust.
