I’m wondering if this might have been a strategic delay. I’d rather have the SC ruling on this sort of case after Kennedy and Ginsburg are gone.
My specific issue is that life happens, and unless the Sheriff can “see” into my specific future and personally guarantee me with their life that no circumstances will ever exist in my lifetime to warrant self-protection outside my home for me or my family, then the entire argument is bogus.
This is tragic.
Living in California means I have fewer rights than if I lived outside of California.
The SC has decided it is okay for me, personally, to have different/fewer rights than other people.
Democrats have destroyed the quality of life here.
The Court’s decision to deny certiorari in this case reflects a distressing trend: the treatment of the Second Amendment as a disfavored right. The Constitution does not rank certain rights above others, and I do not think this Court should impose such a hierarchy by selectively enforcing its preferred rights. The Court has not heard argument in a Second Amendment case in over seven years—since March 2, 2010, in McDonald v. Chicago, 561 U. S. 742. Since that time, we have heard argument in, for example, roughly 35 cases where the question presented turned on the meaning of the First Amendment and 25 cases that turned on the meaning of the Fourth Amendment. This discrepancy is inexcusable, especially given how much less developed our jurisprudence is with respect to the Second Amendment as compared to the First and Fourth Amendments.
I’ve been worried about Gorsuch from Day One. He comes across (to me) as extremely arrogant trying too hard to feign humility. I don’t trust him. I believe (have read) that his church’s minister is a lesbian. Too liberal for me. I PRAY that I am wrong about him.
We American Citizens who live in CA have less “Rights’ than the Illegal Invaders who live here.
We didn’t break the Law,the Illegal Invaders did, yet they are granted all sorts of goodies, Driver’s Licenses and In State College Tuition to name a couple.

If you’re going to post an article I do hope you give it more effort in the future. Part of what makes this format so great is to read a little bit about the article before taking the time to go to it. It’s a more efficient way of absorbing the news we care about.
I’m disappointed the SC decided to not take up this case. It really is important; especially since national reciprocity is closer to being law than ever. This case would have set an important precedence. Maybe that’s why they chose not to hear it.

Don’t be a lazy whiner- it is unbecoming of a FReeper.
Since most if not all Sheriff’s are an elected position, I assume political donations (where bigger is better) for a running contender would be in line to assure you can exercise 2A rights in those areas.
Why do you say that? He’s one of only 2 who disagreed.
