At the bottom of the article,

"There are exceptions to the ban, however. For example, if travel is required to maintain grant funding or licensure, or for auditing and revenue collection purposes. And of course, anyone can travel to any of the states on the list in a personal capacity. "

I heard rumors that California is going to build a wall on it’s border. It will allow illegals in but keep taxpayers from leaving. /s

1) It is not a "travel ban" it is an invasion ban because immigration of illegals and enemies is an invasion.

2) The United States...shall protect each [State] against Invasion U.S. Constitution, Art IV, Sec 4. The federal government is MANDATED by the Constitution to stop and prevent invasion regardless of the LGBTQ Community, the XYZ Community, or the MICKEY MOUSE Community, which is exactly what Trump is doing.

3) The feds must carry out their constitutional duties WITHOUT REGARD for special interests like the LGBTQ community. The Constitution does not authorize the feds to suspend its obligations because of special interests or "discrimination against LGBTQ community."

Then, logically, they must ban travel to any and all m*slim countries, and stop letting m*slims into the country.

So, CA wants to FORCE people to accept their point of view? What if Texas put a ban on CA for refusing to allow reasonable process for gun ownership and CHLs? What would the reaction be then?

Well, when your state is headed to the financial abyss with no possible solution, then you can choose to distract attention with this useless gesture.

How long before they prohibit ALL Californians from traveling to proscribed states?

First off, this is Communist New Network...

Second, sounds like California is turning into a ‘prisoned city’...where you can only go within California...hmmm, could this be a ‘Hitler’ mandate??? I think it is...

California is a State within the United States of America, and the Constitution is the law which we follow...those in California Government seems to think they are ‘an island of their own’ and maybe they just might get their wish, but the Citizens had better stop and think about all of this:

Without Federal Government Grants, California would lose all of this, they would not get any benefits to the Citizens nor would they get monies for places like the Orville dam, road construction, gasoline, electricity, anything that helps keep Citizens going in a State...

Oh sure they can build their own power grid, they could rebuild their own roads, they can maintain their own hospitals, they could even grow their own food supply, but where is the money going to come from? The jobs you have, half or three fourths of your checks would be taken for these benefits...and can you imagine the tax base you would be paying to be ‘independent’, the prices in food products grown in your Island would cost, the high price of having your own electricity...

Yep, go ahead California...if the people there don't start to rebel against this, this is where you will be, then on the other hand because Your Governor went and made a deal with China, has Mexico as their first support, you might make it, but I doubt it...

I wonder if/when California will go further and ban the selling of any Ca. product to states on their Ban List?

Left to their own insanity, they might write their own demise sooner rather than later, LOL.

Gee, no kidding. Incredible that the news media thinks anyone would even believe California's moronic governor and legislature might have the ability to stop citizens from traveling where they please on their own dime. California's Democrats can go on banning travel to any state on the union that offends their tender sensibilities while grand-standing with corrupt dictators from China on the environment - the rest of the nation and much of California will just go on laughing at them.

Good, they do the travel ban and Trump will pull the federal funds from their criminal hideouts AKA “Sanctuary cities”.

I think they should set up Checkpoints at all Border Crossings and prevent anyone from those States from entering unless they sign a Pledge of Loyalty to the State of CA.

The only exception would be the Mexican Border. You know, the Country that has the draconian Immigration Laws that would have the Liberals marching in the streets if we adopted them here.

That will show them...

Perhaps it’s time to ban CA from access to Arizona’s electricity generation and water from the Colorado River. Y’know.. fairness and all.

In a state that harbors illegal aliens (67-70% of which come from Mexico and represent one race of people) and allows college age children/adults to openly express racism against Whites, and hatred for people who hold Conservative beliefs, I am very impressed by California’s even handedness when it comes to race and ideologies. NOT!

California’s leadership reminds me of the person sitting on the john doing their business, while blaming others for stinking up the place. At least that person has a biological need.

California does all this by choice. It’s anti-American. It’s outside the U.S. Constitution. It’s gone so far as to attempt to erect a Green Curtain as opposed to an Iron or Bamboo curtain, reasoning that people who earned their income in California should always pay taxes to the state on their former earnings, even if they retire out of state.

California’s leadership thinks it’s enlightened. It isn’t. It has merely moved a long way toward adopting bits and pieces of the U.S.S.R., Hitler’s Germany, and Communist China’s beliefs into it’s laws.

And yes folks, it is stinking up the place.

I wish they would ban Californians from moving to Texas. We don’t really need any more of them in our state.
