At the bottom of the article,

"There are exceptions to the ban, however. For example, if travel is required to maintain grant funding or licensure, or for auditing and revenue collection purposes. And of course, anyone can travel to any of the states on the list in a personal capacity. "

California chooses to ban baking metaphorical wedding cakes for states with beliefs that conflict with their lgbt(whatever) religion.

I am sad. Alabama only made it on the second round. Again we fail to lead in anything.

I will refuse to travel to their state if I can.

And yet the state will allow state-funded, state-supported travel and business with countries such as China which have ‘model’ human rights for their LGBTQ citizens. I guess there are exceptions for like-minded political entities.......

All this fuss over a group of people that even most Democrats, in private, can't stand themselves. Follow the 💰 💰 💰. The LGBT community in California is loaded with money and are happy to give it to Democrats, who in turn pass policies they desire.

The citizens of these states should back their leaders by cancelling any vacations/business trips to California as long as this bs continues.

“Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee were the original states banned by AB 1887, but Becerra added Alabama, Kentucky, South Dakota and Texas on Thursday, citing what he called new discriminatory legislation enacted against the LGBTQ community in those states.”

“Alabama, South Dakota, and Texas all recently passed legislation that could prevent LGBT parents from adopting or fostering children and Kentucky passed a religious freedom bill that would allow students to exclude LGBTQ classmates from campus groups.”

California is trying to prevent their miserable Pac-12 football teams from having to play in the SEC.

I think this is marvelous. If any official California business must be done with representatives of offensive states, they can use the telephone or send an email.

Pride WAS living in California when I was young. We had the best of everything. Today it is an embarrassment to live here, but we are entirely too invested to move.

It’s time to clean house
Get rid of liberal Demorats and Senile Gov Brown.
California is going down the toilet

Liberal Immigration policies
Health Care expansion for illegals
Aggressive green house policies
Raising taxes including an outrageous gas tax
Placement of high speed rail a real boondoggle
now a travel ban because of LGBTQ discrimination.

TIME TO IMPEACH BROWN !!

The law says California is “a leader in protecting civil rights and preventing discrimination”

Unless they’re counter to the Socialist bent, or those ‘rights’ happen to be Inalienable, the, all bets are off.

Funny that the law vs. ‘discrimination’ discriminates against 4 (current) States. Course, one would need at least 2 brain cells to fire to see the hypocrisy.
