Manslaughter is a lesser crime than murder.
Even so, she will get a sentence far, far less harsh than a man or dad would receive for the exact same thing. On average only 1/3 what a man gets for the same crime.

In my youth I was in a band and my mates introduced me to pot. Trust me, you get blazed and judgement is very, very impaired.
