This is all ‘Shade’ for Obama’s spying on Trump’s team in the election.
The Real Story
There was no ball to drop. The whole story was a fiction, created solely to try to hurt Trump.
WikiLeaks revealed the CIA had a program called “Umbrage” that collected and used tools and techniques to make it appear hacking came for other places.
It was complete with usage techniques such as using Russian words, Chinese characters, Arabic writing etc in the attack background instructions.
The operator was instructed to do the attack during normal business hours of that nation they were setting up. IE, don’t do the attack from 8-5 here in the USA hours.
All of the above was used as “evidence” of Russian “fingerprints”.
Bottom line: Our intelligence community (FBI/CIA/and NSA) were actively involved in trying to interfere in our elections. They are doing here what they have done around the world for decades.
They are criminal and must be stopped for America to remain free.

This whole Russian fiasco can be laid at the feet of the imposter in chief.
Maybe Russia intervenes in every US election. Maybe we intervene in every one of theirs. Maybe other counties are interfering in our elections or Russia's elections and we are interfering in theirs. Can we get some actual facts about that?
I suspect there wasn't that much more hacking or meddling going on than usual and we couldn't definitively trace it back to Russia. It was only after the election that supposed Russian meddling became a big deal.

No. when no attribution is made at all as to the source of the “information”, then it’s best to assume that the article is simply a work of fiction being presented as “fact”. There’s really no other reasonable conclusion.
Unbelievable that Comey got away with destroying laptops (evidence) and what about all those smashed phones. Such OBVIOUS crimes here but no one will touch it. Why? Come on Sessions.
