Hope the pilot is safe. It’s been a rough week for F-16 drivers.

I will never forget when a Thunderbird F-100 flamed out on takeoff at Laughlin AFB back in 1964 and went through the boondocks and came to rest a foot off of HW 90 next to a “No Parking” sign. The picture was priceless.

First reports are a wind gust blew it over. We are dealing with the remnants of tropical storm Cindy today. Heavy rain and wind.

Scratch one lawn dart.

The F16 has a high loss rate due to the single engine design. How long til they run out.

Hmmmm. The bulletin didn’t mention billowing smoke and crackling sounds. It seems to be more than a fender bender.
