A lawsuit filed Wednesday says invasive and unnecessary rectal exams followed the mass arrest of 235 people during President Donald Trumps inauguration in the nation's capital.
At least five people were rectally probed, the lawsuit says. And the number of demonstrators, journalists and legal advisers forced to remove their pants for the procedure may be much higher, says Scott Michelman, senior staff attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of the District of Columbia.
I think part of the reason this hasnt come out more is that people are reluctant to talk about it, says Michelman, who is representing the four original plaintiffs on the lawsuit.
It is shameful, it is traumatic and a lot of people are still dealing with it," he says.

sounds like a typical day at the airport to me!
if it’s good enough for innocent public just trying to fly, it’s good enough to ANTIFA rioters!
But they’re leftists. They enjoy that kind of thing, don’t they?
They had it coming and liked it.
Wow.Who writes those headlines? That’s a “mouthful” LOL!
There were probably only few of them but they kept getting back in line for another probe.
“At least five people were rectally probed, the lawsuit says.”
That’s only three percent of arrestees. I think law enforcement should have higher performance standards, although God knows the perps will just quit wiping before a protest to make these cops jobs (more) miserable.
After completion of the rectal probes, the arrested ANTIFA’s were permitted to continue their own rectal probing in the privacy of their cells............
As much as I hate the “protestors” — who were actually anarchists attacking society — rule of law is rule of law and cops who don’t follow the rule of law should be fired and permanently barred from any law-enforcement jobs, including security guards. And that especially goes for their immediate supervisors, and their supervisors two or three levels up.
Either run a police department like professionals, or fire every moron in it and start from scratch.
(My comment is based on the assumption that the allegations turn out to be true, of course, but it is also a generic comment based on how police must behave, at all times, in my opinion.)
Sounds like wishful thinking on their part.
Only 5?
Just the a$$holes...
I smell bs. Pun intended.
I agree, yet I would be unsurprised if these were utter lies.
The snowflakes have very little regard for truth.
=:-)
So who are they during? Is it the Feds or is it the Democrat dominate DC police?
That’s what I was wonderin’. Yet, I’m unwilling to go to the article and read it to find out. I don’t know why.
'I think you missed a spot...try again.'
LOL. I was hoping somebody would as I am unwilling to go there also.
Quit bitching...the probe you guys got was NOTHING like the eight-year long probe many Americans got from the Obama crime syndicate.
