This writer seems destined to forever be mystified by Trump’s proclivity to tweet. Contrary to her belief, folks actually LIKE Trump’s tweets. They are nowhere even near to the negative things she sees them to be.
For once we have a president who knows what it is, will tell it like it is, and will fight for what he believes in.
This she still references the tweets as if they is a big negative local candidates have to overcome. Bull Stuff!
How can Trump’s obvious positive aspects be so befuddling to these people?
We hate the press. Trump is doing an end run on them. What is not to like about that?
DUH!
Yep. The author seems to be broadcasting a call to the left to brainstorm on substantive ways to become a viable party and win another election, somehow.
They should try being human beings instead of the pod-people they are.
I started following President Trump's tweets about a month or so ago. At that time, he had 24.2 million followers. As of today, he has 32.6 - and they can't all be 'bots.
At some point it will level off and even decline a bit, and the the Media will be shouting from the rooftops that he is losing his base.
“folks actually LIKE Trumps tweets.”
You make a good point.
Greg Gutfeld has been making that same point on the Five (not a bad show if you mute every word Juan Williams says).
Gutfeld said - if you think about it, Trump’s tweeting is the ultimate transparency.
Isn’t that what the left is always calling for?
D1,
In 2012 Obama beat Romney nationally with the mantra “War on Women” and a bunch of celebrities. In 2016 that did not work. OK, H was excruciatingly awful, Trump was more skillful than the media admits, but also maybe the voters just got tired of identity politics.
