Early vote totals assuming they are coming in first... Indicate he’s pretty much toast. Margin isn’t there. Won’t be close

who is Cobb?

Speaker of the House 1849-1851; also a commissioned colonel in the Civil War...

You looked up the wrong Cobb.

Cobb County was named for Thomas Willis Cobb (1784 – February 1, 1830) a United States Representative and Senator from Georgia.

He was elected to the Senate to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Nicholas Ware and served from December 6, 1824 until his resignation in 1828. He was a judge of the superior court of Georgia, and died in Greensboro in 1830. Cobb County, Georgia is named in his honor, the county seat of Marietta is named for his wife Mary.

Now NYT says “few votes have been counted” i.e: they are just coming in.

Rep. Mick Mulvaney left the seat open to become Trump’s Budget Office Director. This race is to replace Mulvaney.

Yes, I will never forget the moment Wisconsin flipped from Hillary to Trump in the projected vote. We both yelled at the same time.

I think Quayle was not originally GOP-e but couldn’t escape then once he was GHWB’s VP.

Yes, it put them in the same circles.

How will they spin the loss?

Russian meddling?
Handel/Putin collusion?
Global warming?
Voter suppression?

Georgia...definitely a Russia connection

100,000 votes in... 1% precincts reporting. I take this to mean that what we’re seeing is the early vote,

That % of precincts reporting is very misleading. There will only be around 300,000 to 350,000 total votes in a congressional district. So about a third of the vote is already in.

Here is the vote tally from 2016 when Tom Price was reelected. Looks like about 310,000 total votes cast.

Georgia U.S. House 6th District Results: Tom Price Wins

No date on the picture. It looks like a maybe 5 year old picture. My guess. It is a good pic.
