Woods posted his Tweet just hours after James T. Hodgkinson, a Bernie Sanders’ groupie-turned-gunman, opened fire on Republican Congressman Steve Scalise and others at an Alexandria, Virginia ball field.
Radio talk show host Michael Savage commented last Tuesday, prior to the shootings:
“I don’t know how much more of this the country can take. We are at a boiling point. There’s going to be a civil war.”
Tweeted Sheriff David A. Clarke, Jr., last Friday in response to banners held aloft by leftist protesters that read: “Become Ungovernable” and “This is War”:

Could Woods and Savage, in particular, be right? The words, “Civil war,” are on more lips nowadays. Will America’s long cold civil war finally turn hot? And if war came, what sort of war would it be?

The author's main point is that Civil War as in the War Between the States is unlikely today but the model of Bleeding Kansas, with community vs community, in separate states, all across the country and at the same time, is much more plausible.
It's the kind of thing I'm dreading to see this summer. Rumours have been out for months that Antifa and their cohorts like BLM are planning massive 'protests' this summer in our cities. If they actually happen, how long will it be before they're opposed by regular Americans who've had enough? Or worse, by armed militias?
I've said it before that Conservative Americans are the most law abiding and patriotic people in the land but even law abiding patriots will get to the point where they've had enough and they're willing to say NO More.

Civil wars are often the most destructive wars, but I have come to the conclusion that the US would be stronger in the long run if we had an exceptionally bloody civil war (Russian/Chinese level war deaths in the tens of millions) that got rid of all the traitors, parasites and dead wood holding this country down.
Thomas Kratman said that any civil war in the US would resemble the Lebanese Civil War, not the Civil War of 1861-65.

Conservatives are more patient too. In addition most conservatives have faith in God. Most liberals don’t and the ones that do, they believe that God needs their help in order to make things right in society. The ones without faith naturally believe that they are in danger every minute of every day, because they don’t know (as we do) that God is in control.

We have a lot of ammo and a lot of guns and lots of people with training. Win, lose or draw, the other side will know they were in a fight. In a losing scenario, my philosophy will be to make victory so costly that it would seem like a defeat, their victory would taste like ashes.
Ready to go that far? A lot of those Antifa thugs were children a few years ago, and their women are not getting a pass.
I’d go further. A far as necessary to win. As far as using nuclear weapons, I do notice a lot of “them” are clustered in cities and vulnerable. Clustering also renders them vulnerable to cholera outbreaks, or cutting off their water and power supplies.
One of the leftist's goals is to goad some conservative somewhere into reacting violently. Satisfying as it may be we can't take the bait. Scathing e-mails to journalists and politicians should be the limit of our response.
This would be the most effective IMO.

So true. Soros tried this in the Ukraine, and it worked. He (and others)
are trying to do it here, also. Chaos, and then imposed order. Or
an overturning of the established order.
There needs to be a housecleaning of Biblical proportions. We’re long overdue. It’s a butcher’s bill, payable in blood.
I generally consider clustering a way of concentrating force. But “General Cholera” could do some good work for us in the cities.

The trouble with a civil war is no one wears uniforms so a lot of innocents get killed.
Maybe we should start issuing uniforms. Pink for the leftists and blue for the rest of us.
Never, ever in my almost 80 years would I have expected to be reading about a civil war between American people with different political views in this country but alas, here it is. I grew up in a conservative Christian family, spent time in the U.S. Navy and will NEVER, repeat NEVER back down to someone wishing to destroy this once great country. I am a patriot, still quite active and WILL fight to my death to protect the U.S. from being over-run by a bunch of “no minds”. BRING IT, I’m ready.
