Russia Probe: Whether or not special prosecutor Robert Mueller is even investigating President Trump for obstruction of justice is far from clear. What's becoming increasingly clear, however, is that if Mueller does launch such a probe, he shouldn't be the one to run it.
A few days after the "bombshell" Washington Post story claimed that Mueller was looking into whether Trump tried to thwart the FBI's Russia-election-meddling investigation, ABC News reported that there isn't such an investigation.
"My sources are telling me he's begun some preliminary planning. Plans to talk to some people in the administration," said ABC News correspondent Pierre Thomas on Sunday. "But he's not yet made that momentous decision to go for a full-scale investigation."
This backs up what we noted in this space on Thursday, that just because Mueller is talking to administration officials who might be involved in a possible investigation doesn't mean there is one.
But while Mueller mulls over that decision, more and more voices are being raised calling for him to step aside due to a serious conflict of interest that probe would represent. That conflict involves Mueller's long-standing friendship with former FBI head James Comey.

Appearance of a conflict is as important as an actual conflict in decision to recuse. If results are going to be believed, the person in charge must be trusted by the people.
Anyone who wants to use Mueller’s findings to remove Trump should want Mueller gone because appearances will minimize the impact of any findings of guilt. But, his purpose is to incite the left and keep the Russia narrative going, not to convince Trump supporters that Trump or his staff committed crimes. He should be paid by the DNC since he’s a part of their 2018 campaign strategy, and 2020 if he can drag it on long enough.
The money we will be spending for these ‘investigators’ could be used for other beneficial projects. At $1200 an hour X 13 plus lawyers for an undetermined amount is BIG bucks.

Mark Levin spent the first hour of his show yesterday rightly asserting that the Justice department policy for over 40 years is that a sitting President CAN NOT be criminally indicted while in office and that the Constitutional process (impeachment) is the only proper method to remedy a offending Chief Executive. The point is, if Mueller is pursuing a criminal indictment in conflict with long-standing Justice Department policy, HE needs to go as it would be blatantly obvious that he is up to NO GOOD!

Trump is not under investigation.
Plus Mueller has been hiring far leftist lawyers. Leftist lawyers are not known for their integrity, IMO. Furthermore, did not Mueller interview for Comey's job at one time?
Why has not the MSM asked Mueller about these concerns with his apparent lack of impartiality? Can he recuse himself?
why does this story claim that comey said that trump tried to pressure him to stop investigating flynn?? when comey gave his live testimony he said there was no pressure for any investigation to be stopped....
Mueller’s job is not to find the truth about anything. His job is to bring down Trump. It needs to be made plain to all that if Trump is removed, the country will be torn apart and there will be real blood in the streets.
Why does this Mueller even need to be in any position? Fire him. Who cares. Trump is way ahead of the Dems. Problem is Sessions. Is he “all in’ or just “on cruise control”?
Horrible Title. There is no reason for Mueller to investigate Trump at all.

As Comey has perjured himself AND leaked information to the press, Mueller must step aside to remove all APPEARANCES of impropriety. Recuse yourself!
