Robert Mueller’s Mission
Wall Street Journal ^ | June 16, 2017

...

There are nonetheless good reasons to raise questions about Mr. Mueller’s investigation, and those concerns are growing as we learn more about his close ties to Mr. Comey, some of his previous behavior, and the people he has hired for his special counsel staff. The country needs a fair investigation of the facts, not a vendetta to take down Mr. Trump or vindicate the tribe of career prosecutors and FBI agents to which Messrs. Mueller and Comey belong.

Start with the fact that Mr. Comey told the Senate last week that he asked a buddy to leak his memo about Mr. Trump specifically “because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.” Did Mr. Comey then suggest Mr. Mueller’s name to Mr. Rosenstein? He certainly praised Mr. Mueller to the skies at his Senate hearing.

The two former FBI directors are long-time friends who share a similar personal righteousness. Mr. Mueller, then running the FBI, joined Mr. Comey, then Deputy Attorney General, in threatening to resign in 2004 over George W. Bush’s antiterror wiretaps.

Less well known is how Mr. Mueller resisted direction from the White House in 2006 after he sent agents with a warrant to search then Democratic Rep. William Jefferson’s congressional office on a Saturday night without seeking legislative-branch permission. The unprecedented raid failed to distinguish between documents relevant to corruption and those that were part of legislative deliberation. GOP Speaker Dennis Hastert rightly objected to this as an executive violation of the separation of powers and took his concerns to Mr. Bush.

The political removal of Trump from the White House just doesn’t seem possible. Maybe I’m missing something.

Comey said Trump wasn’t under investigation.

Trump is advised to hire Rosenstein.

Rosenstein advises Trump firing Comey is the way to go.

Rosenstein advises Trump hiring Mueller, close friend to
Comey, is the way to go.

Mueller has covered up and not followed through on Clinton crimes. He ignored warnings from Russia, Saudi Arabia and England on the Boston Bombers and let the wife off because her family is CIA. He ignored the warnings on Ft. Hood shooter Hasan. He ignored countless warnings from 9/11 and on.

Mueller begins investigation of Trump.

Trump can’t fire Mueller. Only Rosenstein can fire him.

Trump hires lawyer Sekulow who says Trump has not been told he’s under investigation. Not been told. Uh, huh. That’s lawyer talk. Just because he hasn’t legally been issued papers stating he’s under investigation doesn’t mean he’s not.

Pence hires lawyers. One lawyer is Comey’s close friend and godfather of his daughter.

Mueller hires a special council team of 13 investigative lawyers. Uh, we don’t need a special council if no one is under investigation.

Mueller’s special council includes Jeannie Rhee who defended Hillary in her email mess. Rhee, Andrew Weissmann and James Quarles are huge DNC donators.

President Trump would eventually address the nation and declare that the demonrats and other dark entities (which he will also name) are actively attempting an overthrow by deadly force—as we’ve now witnessed- his administration, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what happens next.

The Dems don’t care about that, at least for now. The purpose is to use the issue to motivate their voters in 2018, and if they succeed, to then impeach and remove Trump on the charge is having the audacity to have beaten Hillary.

Of the whole list of what may be wrong with Mueller/Comey, this is the biggest, particularly the first part. If Trump really and truly and legitimately obstructed, it should be investigated, like any other legitimate problems in Washington. But it doesn't seem to work that way? It's only Trump. Everything that Clinton has done, and hasn't been investigated is ridiculous by comparison. Why the double standard? Why the hipocricy?

Mueller and his team will make up anything and pass it to the MSM and they’ll run with it ,they only need to get GOP traitors in Congress to go along with it

Don't even go there. That's what they want: they make an outrageous claim, and then push the skeptics into saying "well, maybe...".

The doubt alone is one mile further down the road of fabrication that they want to take you.

It's ALL made up, unrelated "facts" catenated together to get to a narrative, with the single goal of getting to the point they want to go to.

They did NONE of this to Hussein over far more serious stuff like helping Iran get nukes.

Don't fall for it by trying to be "reasonable".

This is setting up to be a political jiu-jitsu.

President Trump ran partly on "lock her up!" The one thing that Democrats like more than hypocrisy is revenge. The irony is that the targets of Trump's "lock her up" are successfully forming the team to turn the tables on him.

Trump went weak on pursuing an investigation into the Clinton Foundation, Clinton dealings with Russia/uranium, and the mishandling of state secrets. Because of that weakness, he gave the Clinton wing of the Democrat party the time to organize their counter-attack, and this is it.

Mueller is their general.

>> “If Trump really and truly and legitimately obstructed...” <<

A nonsensical idea. The chief executive has the total constitutional power over what his administration does.

If he says don’t go there, it is his right, and no crime is committed.

Mueller has zero constitutional power or authority.

Only the House of Representatives has the power to investigate a President.

Couple those facts with Mueller’s obvious conflict of interest, and Trump has an obligation to remove Mueller and the loose cannon that hired him.

For the liberal WSJ owned by the Murducks, this is a slap in the face for Mueller and his anti Trump backers.
