POTUS' TREASURES
Eric, Tiffany, Barron,Ivanka, Don Jr.
It’s been less than a year that we have been able to get that wireless box from Verizon and get off our landline. It’s cut our bill by two thirds.
They still can’t figure out how to get the cable and internet up and out of the river so everytime there’s a flood or other problem, we’re out for days or weeks.
A guy was replacing old wire with new but said they had no intention of taking it out to us. Another time they came out and found a cable had disconnected from the pole and laying in the pasture. It was never reconnected and is still there. The last time our internet went out, we went into the office and was snottily told by the manager that we’re too much trouble so maybe they should just stop our service. The only way we’re getting any service at all is with boosters. But, as you said, they are the only game in town so they can charge what they want and treat you like crap.
I also agree on the French coffee press. Get the 4 cup. Anything less is too much work/cleaning.
I had a Cuisinart 4 cup coffee maker with the stainless steel carafe. Loved that coffee maker till it broke. Had it for years. Since it broke at the most worst moment, I pulled out the French press. Was surprised how great the coffee tasted. Haven’t even considered buying an electric coffee maker since then.
Sometimes I use it to make tea with loose leaves.

At 11:41, motorcade arrived back at the White House. Ride was uneventful. POOL did not see POTUS enter the White House.
Want to thank WSJ’s Mike Bender again who by the way should be credited for the gaggle/Lindsay Walters photo.
Good morning, Ray.
Missed you and your superb comments and excellent pix yesterday.
Praying for good news for your dear wife, may the doctors be able to help her with her health problems.
BTW, the ping pix didn’t show up except for 2.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with the International Olympic Committee.

Use your old 12 cup one and only fill it with 4 cups of water.
Problem with that is DREAMERS are the ones messing up my country.

At 7:55 p.m .EST, motorcade arrived at the U.S. Cellular Center. We arrived via a back entrance. Pooler did not see protesters, but reporter from Des Moines Register said large contingent of Planned Parenthood protesters outside.
Its an excited crowd at the U.S. Cellular Center waving flags and dancing to Neil Young’s Rock in the Free World. Lots of Red USA and Make America Great hats. Blue signs that read “Drain the Swamp” and Pin signs that read “Women for Trump.”
The crowd went wild as POTUS arrived at 8:02. They chanted USA. USA.
Trump spoke in front of a large U.S. flag. A few minute after POTUS began to speak, a group of about a dozen protesters started to blow whistles and ripped up the Trump signs they were holding. They were quickly drowned out by USA chants before being escorted out of the arena.
Press is here. letting them cover the speech.
Did he just say all immigrants should not use welfare for five years?
Here’s a thread on it....

That’s perfect, Jenny.
Two words - paper maps.
The best place to get good maps is a local tourist center. And they're free. Here, we can get detailed county maps with every back road and path. I have every county I can find and keep them in the car. I update them ever few years but make sure to keep the oldest versions in case an old road was gated and locked. They're somewhat topographical and have mileage to the 1/10 mile, historical markers, cemeteries, churches and houses so you know exactly where you are.
This is the kind we have, non breakable and insulates the coffee all morning. All you do is add about 5 tsps of coffee into the pot, pour boiling water into it, and let it sit from 4 minutes to even half hour (keeps getting stronger). Before serving, just push down the press and you have a delightful start of the day. We use fresh ground coffee grounds (Peets our favorite) to insure our coffee is so tasty. We keep the coffee grounds in the freezer, as freshness is everything. (You can use half the recipe for an individual serving for yourself)

Morning sissyjane and all. The vascular surgeon wants her to have additional tests which are scheduled for July 5th. There is no problem with her right leg only her left one. He spent a considerable amount of time with us and was very detailed in his explanations. The arterial flow from the heart to her left foot is in the abnormal range but not to a high degree. He wants to test the return flow through the veins.
I want to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers, they are much appreciated. I will be checking in from time to time. We are going to be looking for a home closer to doctors and shopping over the next year as it will be much easier on us................
Thanks for checking in Ray Will continue prayers for all of your needs. The lilies of the fields are blooming here now
AMERICA’S PRAYER VIGIL THREAD was posted as I dozed. (Slow day here )

I certainly hope the Democrats do not force Nancy P out. That would be very bad for the Republican Party - and please let Cryin' Chuck stay!
@realDonaldTrump - 10:15 AM - 22 Jun 2017
I swear by the Melitta type drip through method. Excellent quality. A little bit of work, one must heat and pour the water manually.
sounds like a satisfactory appointment. Informative and encouraging but the “more tests needed” always give us pause
Will you have kids/family to help you move? It is always such a pain to do so when young and healthy.. and I can speak for myself - about your age/health.. now it sucks.
proximity to conveniences makes more sense as health issues pile on. I still love remote and private although I am semi suburbia. Hoosier mama’s set up seems about right for me
