If Putin ran for office here, I’d support him over any Democrat.

Obama creating a mine field for Trump is the tip of an iceberg that DC has become for decades. The swamp has been festering for much longer than the Obama administration.

I fear this bloodless coup will either tie up or remove Trump. These leftist scum need to be addressed and now.

[Putin] said Russia was merely an "instrument" for an internal political war in America.
What Alfred Hitchcock referred to as "the Macguffin."

He added that the vilification of Russia felt “like hatred for a certain ethnic group. Like anti-Semitism.” He said Russia was merely an “instrument” for an internal political war in America.

Bingo.

Putin also grasps the problem with the bureaucracy and how hard it really is for a president to change to course of this country.

Putin understands these things and states the situation bluntly. He's not a nice guy, I think, but he understands the world. The Left in this country (Democrats and Media and Academia) seem to understand nothing or perhaps be incapable of stating the truth about anything.

It’s funny how the American left spent the entire Cold War sympathizing with the Soviets, but now they want everyone to see Russia as the world’s great evil power. According to the left it is now our patriotic duty to hate Russia. I swear it comes down to the homosexual agenda. Russia is standing athwart “progress” in that area and so it has become the left’s ideological enemy.

“I think that Obama’s outgoing team has created a minefield for the incoming president and for his team. They have created an environment which makes it difficult for him to make good on the promises given to the people,” said Putin.

He is not wrong about that.

I think Putin understands the U.S. and Americans pretty well.

Damaging America was job one for Obama. Without a term limit, he would’ve done for the United States what Hitler did for Germany.

I watched all fours hours of the interviews... despite my distaste for Stone. It was pretty interesting for sure.

Despite Stone's attempts to paint GWB in a bad light and to then gloss over the Obama years, it was clear that Putin hates Obama, Obama (and McCain and others) did some bad stuff in Ukraine and Obama and company did some serious interfering in Russia's 2012 elections.

Now the left is all ticked off with Stone for these interviews because they didn't turn out that way they had hoped.

Putin is correct. Obama administration left a minefield for Trump.

As to whether Putin meddled: I doubt it. Meddling is actively doing something to change an outcome. Russian intelligence agencies, and all intelligence agencies wiorldwide, usually dare not meddle. They usually only intercept (listen in to) political communications to prevent being surprised.

Just for your information words like "meddle" and "hack" are all over the newspapers. Those words have very specific meaning. Most writers do not know the meaning of the words they toss out. Yes, they do not know what they are talking about. That is usually the case.

This is not going to end well for Trump, Pence, the GOP, and all of us that voted "R" because there was no where else to go. At this rate I will not be voting any Federal candidates in 2018. If other folk feel as I do the RATS take back both chambers of Congress and the GOP will be happy as the "DO NOTHING OPPO PARTY AGAIN"!!!

Putin also admitted he expected almost nothing to change under Trump because after working with three different presidents, he understood the power of bureaucracy in America

There ya go. This country is being run by unelected, unaccountable, unfire-able, America-hating bureaucRATS.

Another use of *minefield*, this time by David Brooks:

Meet the Press - June 18, 2017

** F CHUCK TODD:

Welcome back. Panel is here. David Brooks, columnist for The New York Times, Amy Walter, national editor of The Cook Political Report, Danielle Pletka of the American Enterprise Institute, and Eugene Robinson, columnist for The Washington Post. Welcome all. You've heard all the interviews. David Brooks, do you have any better sense of where the president is this morning on this investigation?

DAVID BROOKS:

I'm actually getting more uncomfortable with this whole deal, thinking that maybe we're getting a little ahead of ourselves. And I'm bothered by the lack of emerging evidence about the underlying crime, that there was actually collusion or coordination between the Trump White House.

And so what's happened is we've surrounded the president with this legal minefield, and Donald Trump being Donald Trump, steps all over the legal minefield and blows them up six ways from Sunday. But it's become an investigation about itself. And you know, I've lived through Whitewater, I've lived through a lot of these. And there's a lot of shady behavior that don't rise to the Watergate level. And I'm just afraid we're being swallowed up by the politics of scandal, when there's less and less evidence that they actually colluded. And maybe that'll come out, but so far it hasn't, and it bothers me.
