The fighter jet deal with Qatar makes mincemeat of any coherence in U.S. Middle East foreign policy voiced by Donald Trump and suggests there is really only ONE actual foreign policy - making crony capitalist deals for U.S. arms manufacturers.
It sounds like 45 inherited this deal from 44, as it was signed in Nov 2016, and that there is also another order for a different type of plane that has yet to be fulfilled.
It just seems like it’s another mess Obama left behind.
(And I apologize in advance for my ignorance as I know NADA about the subject, but thank you for the article share).
“The fighter jet deal with Qatar makes mincemeat of any coherence in U.S. Middle East foreign policy....”
36 F-15s to Qatar just means 72 F-15s and F-16s now need to be purchased by Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait. Get with the program would ya?
I don’t know. Ashcroft is there to check on whether they are funding terrorists so if he does, maybe they just get 1/2 the jet.
