House Majority Whip Steve Scalise went into surgery for the third time Thursday morning after he was wounded in a shooting at the Republican baseball team's practice in Alexandria, Va.
Doctors at MedStar Washington Hospital Center said the Louisiana Republican remained in critical condition, and they began a third operation, according to Politico.
Scalise was transported to MedStar Washington Hospital Center after a gunman, identified as James Hodgkinson, opened fire on a group of Republican lawmakers practicing for the annual congressional baseball game

Amen. Praying without ceasing. I keep getting called back to prayer. Have to pray until the darkness lifts. We prayed and God gave us President Trump. Now we have to up the prayers because all the power of the evil ones is out in the open. They no longer care if it is seen. It appalls me,what we have been seeing and hearing. May God Almighty protect those who serve Good.

If the shooter did get his info from that article. It certainly explains his need to ask which congressional team was present Dem or Rep.
Very odd how the NY Times worded that article.
It’s one thing to mention the ballgame and the practices, but makes no sense to give detail such as security there.

Three surgeries in 28 hours? That is never a good sign.
The anesthesia is a big problem. Anesthesia is a significant “insult” to the body, especially the lungs, kidneys, liver and spleen.
Having to put a Pt under anesthesia a 3d time in such a short time frame means there were significant problems they had to correct (probably bleeding), and this 3d surgery was NOT an option.
Not good.

Sean Hannity said a little while ago that he was told Scalise is fighting for his life. Hopefully he will pull through.
