This situation makes me think there is more need to carry. I bet some of those congressmen would have preferred to have something to defend themselves than be sitting ducks.

It seems to me that what is really needed after so many attacks is the Democrats need to learn self-control above all else.
it’s not guns.. it’s their hate speech and broadway plays and late night shows with hate... Trump needs to bring charges against what are threats instead of freedom of speech.. freedom of speech is used to freely give out threats.. it’s a crime, but political correctness has taken over. Trump can change that back to some sense.

1964: We want to register ALL GUNS! and ban the import of 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles.
1968: We demand the registration of ALL FIREARMS, and a ban on foreign Saturday night specials and army surplus rifles (They got this ban).
1971: We demand a BAN on all SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIALS!
1976: We demand a ban on ALL HANDGUNS! Long guns will not be affected!
1981: The NRA is a RIFLE ORGANIZATION! They should give up their handguns and they can keep their rifles!

Guns are the best overall defensive weapon, but not the best offensive weapon to use if you want to cause mayhem. Vehicles and arson can cause much greater loss of life.
Since their call to ban guns is illogical, and members of their community such as Antifa and that Bernie terrorist have demonstrated what they want to do to us, I will view any attempt at disarming me as an actual attempt on my life requiring a deadly-force response.
