Last month they were claiming a lack of air support from CBP Air and Marine, citing low flight hour totals from 2013-2015. During those years Border Patrol lobbied for a pay raise when the government was operating on a continuing resolution. CBPs only recourse was to rob money intensive operations (air) to make those pay raises happen. Even with funding restored, Border Patrol wants over two and a half times the flight hours support of the total AMO budget. It isn't going to happen even if BP does take over.
So did Trump Lie or did he put the wrong people in charge? Either way it needs to be fixed especially after all the fake propaganda about how much the border crossings had dropped.
DACA alone has nearly doubled and those kids get to bring over three generations of relatives.
