Trump planning to trim 'get whitey' bureaucracy

There are thousands of bureaucrats in the federal government whose only job is to find racist white people. And sexist men. And non-progressive-thinking people who don't want disguised men in girls' bathrooms. But in Trump's new budget he wants to cut back on some of this effort:

The Trump administration is planning to disband the Labor Department division that has policed discrimination among federal contractors for four decades... the move would fold the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, now home to 600 employees, into another government agency in the name of cost-cutting.

Did you know that there are actually 600 government employees, in just one agency alone,. whose job is to not respond to but actually to search out for discrimination?

Unlike the EEOC, which investigates complaints it receives, the compliance office audits contractors in a more systematic fashion and verifies that they “take affirmative action” to promote equal opportunity among their employees.

“My father once had a very competent lab assistant who happened to be a black lady. She told him this was a problem for her even back in the late 1970s. Everyone assumed she was a token affirmative action hire. She hated it because she had worked very hard to get to the position she had achieved without that nonsense.”

My father (no liberal, BTW) told me at the time of the “Bakke” decision (when I was 17) that the most unfortunate result of it would be that qualified minorities would always have that black mark (no pun intended) hanging over their heads. He was a doctor, and he advised me to NOT use any minority doctors who were 5-10 years older than me, or younger, based on a sheer inability to know whether they were accepted to a med school, or passed through it, based simply on their race - or whether they were the smartest and best of their class. He told me that, rest assured, the white people (particularly men) would HAVE TO be better than average. He was utterly disgusted at having to tell me this, and at the idiocy of the Supreme Court for shoving that down our throats.

“If they can’t be legally fired due to being Civil Service it would be cheaper and better for the system to simply pay them their salaries with no further raises and all benefits trimmed as much as legally possible and require them in their new positions to not ever again show their faces in the office or communicate with the office.”

If they can’t be fired, then move them all to a new federal office building in north central Alaska. Since it has been put up in a hurry, it has no roof and no central heating - it is just a barbed-wire enclosure, near a dirt airstrip. Oh, and no internet at all. Mail is picked up and dropped off bi-weekly by some guy on a moose.

They’ll all QUIT - thus saving the taxpayers lots of money vs. having them on payroll doing nothing in a comfortable environment near their families (kind of like they are used to doing nothing right now). No salaries to pay, no pensions, no medical benefits. Nothing.

I think the policies make it almost impossible for them to make it on their own, because right off the bat they are admitted to schools with standards they didn’t meet. That is why many veer off into useless degrees.

If they were placed properly they’d do much better.

1. So far, Trump has done nothing.

2. When Trump does the right thing, I support him. I'm not never Trump. I just don't follow anyone, especially this conman blindly.

3. I live in NYC. Any vote I make on a Federal Level is a protest vote.
