President Trump has privately told multiple people, including EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, that he plans to leave the Paris agreement on climate change, according to three sources with direct knowledge.

Publicly, Trump's position is that he has not made up his mind and when we asked the White House about these private comments, Director of Strategic Communications Hope Hicks said, "I think his tweet was clear. He will make a decision this week."

Under normal circumstances, with full backing of a GOP Congress, of course, Not even a question.

But you must remember Trump is fighting ALL the Democrats and at least one third of the Republicans PLUS the FBI and the CIA holdovers and the entire media. So, no, battle lines cannot be clearly drawn because he would have to be calling out congressmen (like Chaffetz, a disgusting opportunist) and Ru Paul and senators like Yertle which could very easily push over enough votes to start impeachment.

Trump is in a race, not with the Deep State, but with the economy. If he pushes the economy fast enough and far enough, slowly the enemy elements will be weeded out. I do NOT think he is in a position to wage war against the courts or ever all of Congress yet. He is Washington, fighting a Trenton or a Princeton, then moving to another battlefield until his WHOLE army can be brought up.

But he also has we torches and pitchforks, which the deep state fears, as we literally are a rifle behind every blade of grass. The Police Depts, and Miliary back him. All he has to do is throw the match.

I believe “Axios” is run by the pinkos that founded Politico. Could just be some gaslighting going on here.

It must be done carefully. He’s been fine so far. Step by step. Clarke appointed, Lighthizer confirmed, more judges confirmed.

This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Oh, I agree. In fact, I’d prefer we not see the headlines of the deep state being incarcerated, seeing as how they are indictable on 3 and 4 totally seperate evil counts. He needs to disappear them silently as possible, which is contrary to our seeking justice at last, but we will notice when the big-ass criminals are suddenly ‘missing’, like Comey.

Atomizing the Deep State publicly would give the Left reason to rally and draw attention to it.

Scoop: Trump tells confidants U.S. will quit Paris climate deal

We finally have a POTUS with "Common Sense" and President Trump stood his ground.

The far left liberal folks around the world are shedding tears while most Americans are saying good riddance once and for all on the "Climate Change" garbage.

This is just not proven science on the Climate Change garbage that has been around for years.

Heck, even Ole Al Gore is a multi-millionaire on climate change. How he did it is beyond me!

If so, I think the way he handled this with the other leaders is very savvy. He makes it sound like he is open minded, listens to them and goes back home and rejects it.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Trump needs to dump son-in-law Kushner. And Reince Priebus. They’re both wolves in sheep’s clothing.

I just texted Team Trump. I congratulated them on pulling out and the response was “Thanks”

Now, sounds to me like a done deal.

No one is going to dump Priebus. He has done an excellent job so far as CoS. Trump is doing a million things a day, like clockwork. Nothing is screwed up. And you never hear of Priebus.

No, he’s not going to “dump” his son-in-law or Ivanka. Most of the “infighting” you’ve heard about is pure crap. I even think much of it was totally staged.

Agree. He must bide his time as he consolidates his power. But whenever he has the power to act on a given problem, I believe he must do so.

To leave the Swamp in any kind of position of power would be a grave mistake, IMHO. President Trump must steadily dismantle the Swamp, bit by bit...

Trump should just submit the treaty to the senate. And then watch the fur fly.

Be careful l what you wish for.

The Senate may just ratify the Paris Accord as a treaty

I’m a scientist. The carbon dioxide greenhouse gas theory is fundamentally flawed. The data is irrelevant. Carbon dioxide does not cause global warming.

We never even joined it. Obozo signed it as a lame duck AFTER Trump's election
