Sigh... Seems that nobody - Yahoo included - knows how to spell “judgment”.

Yahoo/CNN is running an article pondering why Melania wore a veil to the Vatican but not to Saudi Arabia.

That she's from a mostly Catholic country and thus might be a Catholic didn't occur as a possibility to the keen reporters over at CNN.

Actually, Judgement is correct in some areas. Britain for one.

She didn’t wear a veil to the Wailing Wall either, which I understand is “required”. I think she has respectfully made the statement that she honors her God in her Christian faith.

It may be because it is Protocol requirement for the Vatican but it is not for Saudi as per King (or spokesperson) She is not wearing a veil while meeting with the children.

While I will yield that point, the writer (Jenna Amatulli, who also is an editor for the Huffing-a-lot Post), does not appear to have a British background... looks like NYC. So I can’t let her get away with that one.

She also didn’t wear a veil at the Kotel. I’m not sure what the dress code is for that, if indeed there even is one.

Just maybe as Christians they get to act as Christians not Muslims. I know that’s a revolutionary idea. I was just in Sistine Chapel yesterday. The early opening group goes in with a couple hundred people,an hour later it is a sardine can. It’s real power to be in there alone. Just saying. They get 30k visitors a day.

And one more correction: the article says

"Last Judgement .. ― a moment in Catholicism where a soul is sent to heaven, purgatory, or hell."

Not so. That's what happens at the "Particular Judgment" --- the one that happens an instant after you're dead -- you get Heaven, Purgatory or Hell.

At the Last Judgment --- the one that happens at the end of the world --- the options narrow down to two: Heaven or Hell.

At the end of the world, there's no more Purgatory. That was just a temporary purifying state that does not and cannot persist into eternity.

I trust that President Trump thinks that Michelangelo’s great paintings are A-MAZ-INGGG

I still have not been to Rome. Got to see the Sistine Chapel and other splendors one of these days!!

Yahoo/CNN is running an article pondering why Melania wore a veil to the Vatican but not to Saudi Arabia.

I'm sure the conclusion at CNN/Yahoo is that Trump told her not to wear a hijab in Saudi Arabia because of his hatred for all muslims.

My understanding is that you’re expected to dress properly at the Wailing Wall, but that there isn’t a hard and fast dress code, at least for non-Jewish visitors.
